My vet's method was to restrain the pig while injecting. And of course the pig went mad, it was terrible. I got a slapshot and they hardly notice. Thank you so much for this video.
I really like this injector. Seems to handle the wiggling they do. No one wants a pig jetting with the needle dangling from their neck. 🙋♀️ Or snapping off in the skin because you're trying to keep the needle in. Good to know about leaving the needle in a bit too. I have lard pigs, similarly structured to Kunes, and I experienced some fluid coming out when giving VBcomplex injections. Wasn't nice.
How do i know if its a thinner or thicker liquid? Dewormer, Tetanus, Parvo/Lepto/Erysipelas? What size needle would you recommend for 4month old? Thank you!
Elephants Are Cool yes pigs are easy to deal with especially wen they are eating I find that's wen its easiest to examine them or handle them in a way they generally wouldn't like
