This video is designed to 1. Update providers. 2. Advise and remind the general public that non surgical medical aesthetics accompany real risks. Ensure that your provider is certified and has the knowledge, skills and judgment necessary for procedures and risk management.

What happens if too much hyaluronidase is used. Will is eat tissue or cause permanent damage? I had vascular occlusion two days ago and 4500 units of Hyaluronidase was used. My face is swollen and feels like jelly around my lips. I'm so worried about my tissue. This was done at a spa. I have so much regret right now. I'm thankful to be okay tho.

Great question. It’s only a small chance they will react. If that client really wants filler, you should advise them of the small risk of an allergic reaction. They can have a patch text done in your office (make sure you’re prepped with an (epi-pen) or you can have them tested by an allergist.

You could use these, but I generally only use hyaluronidase and warm compresses. @1:43 'The chances of you directly injecting filler into an artery is very slim probably about 1 in 100,000..so the chances of going back into that same artery with the dissolver such as hyaluronidase are much less than 1 in a million, so the beauty of hyaluronidase is that all we have to do is put the product around the vessel and it'll penetrate through and dissolve the filler' Hi Dan, I don't quite get this about the statistics. Why is the statistic showing that it would it even harder to inject the dissolver into the artery (say the filler is blocking it)? If an injector knows exactly where she/he has injected the filler, then wouldn't it be quite easy to know where to inject the dissolver in?

Hi. I don't recognise my face after hyaluronidase. I had my third injection in the left nasolabial fold in September. And my cheeks on both sides have reduced, as well as my side temples and cheekbones. Looks like the contour of my face has completely changed and I look 5 years older. I just turned 24. I regret so much. It's been 3 months and not much improvement... She told me the doses after I emailed her multiple times about my concerns. First session in june 25iu in the left nasolabial fold and 20iu in the right. In july 35iu. And in September 40iu in the left nasolabial fold. To me this makes no sense. Why would you increase the dose of hyaluronidase when the quantity of hyaluronic acid should be smaller after each session.

You would see the results within 24 hrs. But hyaluronidase is active for up to 48hrs. For non emergency cases, such as dissolving a bubble or just an area that’s over filled, I would wait 2-3 days before adding more hyaluronidase.

@@danestheticsmedical if I feel pain during months after filler in tear trough and stay with a bump can have an injury of orbital nerve or permanent damadge? And if the filler was in a deep plan the hialuronidase can be done with a needle or should be with a canula?

if I mix up a bottle of hyloronadaise and only use half can I save the other half or do I need to throw it away? and does it need to be refrigerated?

As long as you don’t break the rubber seal, it’s reusable. It should have an expiration date. Mine is six months.

@@danestheticsmedical thanks so much I've been tossing half bottles for no reason. I thought the active ingredients die down after mixing it up(like botox).
