Superman = Lois Cheetah = Claws Doctor Fate = Fate! Scarecrow = Fear Sub-zero = Fear me I'm a Grandmaster! Ivy + Swamp thing = the green. Brainiac = Knowledge Joker = LOL Hellboy = Come on Amuse me.
Black Lightning: Ready to help clean up the South side? Blue Beetle: Yeah. Thanks for asking. Black Lightning: Enthusiastic and polite. You’re going places
Black Lightning: “You’re heartless, Black Manta.” Black Manta: “I buried my heart with my father.” Black Lightning: “My father’s death gave me hope.” Wreck him up, Lightning!
Shuyin781 he deserves it, many underestimate this character but he was the first superhero that broke the racism and had his own comic as a person of color, he has a cool story, he looks awesome, and wasn’t expected by anybody
@@franciscodelgadoruiz4326 Person of Color... jfc... it sounds like a more sophisticated version of actually racist "colored people". No, Black Panther was the first in 1966. Marvel had a few more after that. Falcon('69), Luke Cage('72) and Blade('73). DC had John Stewart as Green Lantern in 1971. Black Lightning wasn't around until 1977.
Why is Black Lightning the premier skin? NetherRealm already got their mandatory Mortal Kombat character with Sub-Zero, Black Lightning would have tons better gear options. If anything, Raiden should've been the skin
Raiden is much more powerful, has a lot more abilities, and he's actually a fighter, so he's better suited for a fighting game, plus he's a pretty popular character, so he's sure to turn a profit. And he's cooler than Black Lightning. Facts.
Honestly, 'cause Raiden is more popular/well known. *Far* more well known. Popularity is usually the determining factor in determining which characters make the cut.
Fun fact- in the Injustice universe, Black Lightning is the President of the United States because he was the Secretary of Education and Aqualad killed everyone above him in order of succession.
Everyone: You ready for this? BL: I'm here to fight for the Southside. If it wasn't already obvious, Black Lightning cares a lot about the Southside of whatever.
I don't understand this game. If the premier skin comes with different dialogue and different attacks and finisher? Why not take a few seconds to give them a place on the character menu. Instead of randomly changing Raiden into black lightning. Plus it's weird that the skin changes turn batman into batwoman. It brings Batwoman down now that she's reduced to being Bruce's sex change name.
Compared to other characters and especially for a Premier Skin. He doesn’t reuse a lotta quotes lot other characters do. The voice actor may have just really liked voicing him
why the hell is everyone complaining about the south side thing he doesn't say it too much and he doesn't say it anymore than scarecrow talks about fear or Jason talks about dying or sub Zero talks about being the grandmaster of the Lin Que
Ignis, but it was after that update where you can play as him and Gladio. It came out after the game launched, so if you beat it beforehand odds are you missed it.
They may have made it to appease the whiners who were all over the internet complaining about another Mortal Kombat character being a DLC character for Injustice 2.
@@buttonmash1572why don't you say sorry to fellow fans who don't mind seeing 1 or 2 mortal kombat characters in the game because they also like mortal kombat? Do you feel the same about the other guests?
Black Lightning is so underrated, it hurts! He deserves way more than what he has gotten in respect and accolades. He should be in the front with the rest of the main leaguers! Give a game, movie, animated show, anything (that's good), DC!
7:24 - Damn Lightning you just straight cold XD 12:09 - _I mean how many times have you even said that you damn Pokemon?_ 25:16 - Fucking ouch Lightning XD
He's the first black superhero of DC. He is a father of two girls (with powers), husband, teacher, scholar, athlete, and Batman has the utmost respect for him.
Pretty sad how I was completely against Raiden being in this game but all it took was a skin change for me to be on board, even though he's still the same character.
He was DC's first black superhero, starting in 1977, if I recall my comics history correctly... And yes, his name partially comes from stereotyping. His first costume even used stereotypes as a means of identity concealment. "Jefferson Pierce played to the era's stereotypical perception of blacks by affecting a jive-talking speech pattern and wearing a mask/wig combination that gave him a large Afro, simple devices that deflected suspicion from his true identity of a well-educated school-teacher."
"So your a fellow Social Justice Warrior?" "Damn right I am!" "We should form a league or something." Fuck dude. That is WAY too real. So real, I couldn't help but cringe.
Before he was on Batman's Outsiders team or maybe a reserve member of the Justice League During he joined Batman's side But switched to Superman's due to Superman threatening his hometown Southside After he re-joined Batman's side (I think I could be wrong however)
