Gonna throw this out there: Damian deserves better. Yeah, what he did is terrible. But riddle me this, Batman: Why does he deserve less leniency than freaking Joker?
Robin: you are such a disappointment Batman: you are not my boy, you are my mistake Robin: I WAS NEVER YOUR BOY Batman: YOUR MY ONLY BIOLOGICAL MISTAKE, DAMIAN. NIGHTWING AND JASON ARE MY KIDS.
Batman: I am a lone wolf, I will always be alone Also Batman: *has at least 3 adoptive sons, 1 biological son, Barbaba Gordon as Batgirl and Oracle, teams up with Catwoman all the time, etc.*
@@ootfan7882 Perhaps, but I still think Damian got a raw deal. Him killing Dick was an accident, and Bruce refused to allow him any chance at redemption. I could understand grief coloring his decision, but consider this: Joker killed far more sons than Damian had, including Jason, another adopted son. (At least, I think. DC continuity is almost as confusing as Marvel's.) Yet Batman's treatment of Joker remained pretty much unchanged. Kind of a double-standard, if you ask me, even if I'm wrong about Jason in this continuity.
@@AngelicusEXperiment joker is a killer , Batman knows this and aims to lock him up without death. Damien is his son and he has been trying to teach him not to murder people and control his temper that leads him to do so. So when Damien , his own son, does the exact opposite that ends up murdering his eldest son , and him claiming it an accident after explaining how it happened, just shows Damien easily let’s his own feelings control his outcomes despite his teachings and cost the life of even his own family . I’m also kinda sad Damien is being treated like this because he is so young and it was a mistake not aimed to actually kill Dick, but it’s very justified and warranted. He also doesn’t reflect on how his lack of emotional control caused his brother’s death and turns to Superman’s side to spite his father and feel accepted again. He is shown to not have learned anything and expects respect because he is blood and hopes to take over the nightwing mantle after dick (that fact might be wrong and I’m fully open to corrections ). That’s just my take on how Batman can see the situation.
Ootfan788 In Batman The Brave and The Bold he did actually grow up because in that series Alfred writing fan fiction Batman has Damian with Catwoman and Damian becomes robin when the role Batman has been passed down to Grayson and after Grayson gets old then Damian becomes Batman that’s like the only time he’s grown up. The reason why he’s a spoiled brat is because Taila essentially rofed/raped Batman out in the desert and got pregnant with Damian so he’s been under the influence of the League of Assassins, his mother, and his grand father so its no wonder he’s a spoiled brat. Then after they get attacked Taila and Damian go to Batman and Taila says oh yeah here’s our son thats ours that Batman discovers. He wasn’t a brat in the Batman Vs TMNT movie and not in Teen Titans either I don’t think, but most of the time he’s a spoiled brat who never changes his upbringing was a total accident. If I had choose I rather he be born with Batman and Catwoman because at least he he’s under the influence of two parents and no league of the assassins, and no parent to run off pregnant with your child. I can see Catwoman being the type to stay.
@@ootfan7882 Hard to get out of it when an arsehole grandfather and arsehole mother tell you, teach you and full on force you to kill when you are a kid
Wrood Khalid maybe he hates being lectured by someone who’s older than him. He believes killing people will solve everything. But Dick thinks otherwise
king of games and anime that would most likely be manslaughter (and Reckless endangerment) not murder. For example, if a magician shoots an arrow at some volunteer (with the trick being that the arrow doesn't kill the volunteer) and kills the volunteer when he didn't mean to then thats manslaughter. now i don't know the story so really it is all about intent.
@@idiocyincorporated7635 yeah he got angry and threw a staff at Dick expecting him to catching it but Dick wasn't paying attention and it hit him and the he fell on his head and died from brain injury
It was accident sure but nightwing is gone never would of happened if he just kept his anger in check but at least his death wasn't as painful as jokers
Yeah, not really an accident at all. Just because you expected your potentially lethal attack to fail doesn't mean it wasn't a potentially lethal attack.
+Rein hard or go home I agree with everything you said except the Jason part. Batman took in Jason to not be like his villain's and to fix every mistake Batman made , for example when Batman didn't save the Joker (When Joker was the Red hood) ,and when he slapped Robin. He wanted Jason to be good like him and didn't want him to make the same mistake's, But the pity started when he realizes Jason came back to life.
Damian: "I didn't mean to kill him!" Batman: "But the others you've slaughtered can't be forgiven." Damian: "And yet Jason killing loads of people is somehow overlooked!"
I have to agree with Daimian, psychopaths and other animals deserve to die. But batman has a good point, there are some who can be changed and do what they know is right.
Harvey Dent I can see changing his mental illness came from years of parental abuse killer croc too if only people treated him as a person instead of a freak
Think about The Joker if batman should have killed long ago, 11 fucking million people could have been save including Lois and superman's future son, and also Harley was responsible for that and Batman forgive her but not his son about an accident that was even more painfull to him that he could ever imagine, at that time Damian needed compression and maybe with time forgiveness from his father instead of being banished and catalogued as a murderer, Batman lead his own son to supermans side being so cold to him.
@@ahmedal-kaales5847 it is, as far as i can remember Batman can destroy a sword with the blades in his arms, as he did in Batman Arkham Origins when he fighted Deathstroke
Young Leonidas wind attributed Damian threw his stick in Nightwing's head (he done this before, but now Nightwing didn't expected that), then fell off with his neck on rock. Damn.
Damian was a good happen in one on injustices 2 comic. If anything they should make Injustice god among us a Animated Netflix series and same goes with Invincible.
#1 Robin : I’m another Robin that you failed. Batman : Your the only son that failed me. Robin : You call yourself a farther, your a joke. #2 Robin : I’m the hero Gotham deserves. Batman : That would make the Joker laugh. Robin : I’m gonna kill you. #3 Robin : Superman is more of a man then you could ever be. Batman : It doesn’t take a man to do what’s right, it takes a hero. Robin : Which he is. Let me know what one is yours guys favourite.
Honestly in this universe Damian was failed by Bruce. I do remember that before the accidental killing of Dick Grayson that Damian was treated coldly by Bruce, which did play a part in Damian siding with Superman. It was that rift that led to the clash that killed Dick. I know that he was with the Assassins longer in this timeline and that Injustice began before Damian could undo their brainwashing fully, but even so most other Batmen treat Damian with more care after spending some time with him and helping him learn. In this world everyone is their worst self I guess.
Translations Batman: Stop killing criminals, son! Damien: Why?! They deserve it a hundred times over. Batman: You’re putting me out of a job is what I’m getting at!
