I really wanna ship these two, but their relationship is based off of so many toxic elements that it's just unhealthy to begin with.

Technically wonder woman didn't really tell Kara the entire story. She left out some parts like, how Superman killed the joker, how he went on a tyrannical rampage, that batman was the hero trying to stop the hero-turned villain, and that superman was locked up for a reason. Why would wonder woman lie to Supergirl to cover up the real truth behind Superman's evil?

Well that was entertaining. People talking crap about Wonder Woman or saying Superman and Wonder Woman are toxic are conveniently ignoring the fact that this is a different universe where the villains are now the good guys and the heroes are now bad (unless they are on Batman's team...). Nevertheless there is no way anyone can legitimately make a claim against Superman and Wonder Woman if they really know these two characters at their core, as well as their long history of friendship and connection (post crisis era comic book) that ran deep. They understood each other, supported each other, trusted each other, confided in each other, and cared deeply for each other. They basically had the foundation for what made a long lasting romantic relationship, despite not being together romantically. Those who view things superficially or lack the capacity for a more meaningful analysis might not understand or appreciate the importance of such elements as what they had. Though they were not together, it was understood that there was something more than mere friendship that existed between them. Comics has not always been about actions and meaningless content. They used to deliver meaningful and impactful messages (not all the times but a good amount of time) and they certainly were not meant for just juvenile consumption. However, the way they are written these days has allowed for a lot of inane and nonsense commentaries and mindsets from people that is repugnant.

I’m on the fence about people saying Diana is the true villain, you have to remember she’s an amazon and they kill their enemies so she had no problem supporting Clark,
