Another reason why I take pride in just mixing up my moves to win in Injustice... Not only do I use Nightwing and never knew about some of these combos, the fact is that with the combos I do do which are simpler, take just about the same amount of damage as these do and less hits... Remember the longer the combo the less damage when it gets scaled... With that being said, great combos! and I will be adding a few into my mix-up!
These combos are pretty sexy, and the fact they're in video format makes for an easier time doing them after seeing instead of reading the inputs so I know EXACTLY what to do. Good stuff.

not only are the inputs on the sides of the screen, these are strings that aren't hard to find out. All it takes is common sense to learn how to do combos in this game.
Nightwing is amazing in the game, he's extremely versatile but to become good playing as him you need to put the effort. I also uploaded a nightwing combos videos that go from 37% damage to 51% damage after the game being patched, the quality isn't that great because I recorded them with my camera but i edited the video and it's not bad either.
that's damien wayne, he took on the persona of nightwing when he (in his words) accidentally killed nightwing so batman disowned his ass and damien feeling guilty that he killed his chosen brother so he decided to be the next nightwing to honour dick grayson
I'm stuck in a limbo of "I want to see Nightwing return as a playable character in Injustice 3" and "I don't want Nightwing in Injustice 3 because Robin is my main in Injustice 2 and I don't want him to be removed"
Here's an optimal Staff Stance meterless for mid-screen combo. j2, 2, b3, j2, j3, d2 xx Flying Grayson = 41% You can take out the initial j2 for 3% less, but I think this is the optimal for no meter/no interactable. Thought I'd share it since I didn't see it in the video.
if you are looking for attack range, his heavy air attack has the most range (though it doesn't reach as far as many other characters). don't expect to win many air battles with nightwing. if opponent is jumping in just use your anit-air or jump back yourself and throw a wingding. for range on the ground his heavy, heavy, heavy(overhead)/down forward medium and is back light, heavy(low) reach the furthest. hope this helps!
The Damien Wayne one is the Regime costume. The other two are Dick Grayson. They aren't going to change the name of a particular special move just because of that little change. lol.
it is very tough to work your way in with him. what works best for me is to range with the enhanced wingdings and ground shocks, then dash in quickly when the enemy falls to the ground. you have to find the right time to pressure and know the right time to hold back.
Nightwing be my main but im still a noob at this game. I just started playing on medium and feeling comfy there only with hightwing though. The bigges combo i got was 8 with 32% damage. But was really gettin me in the fact that the game isnt recinizing my inputs. Ill do them really fast and he always ends up just swinging his stick once. Plus the annoying ai blocking..help? Although original Dick Grayson Nightwing did have long hair. I don't know why they started making him with shorter hair. Growing long hair was like a symbol of ditching his sidekick status.
Also seeing as you are pretty advanced in a good amount of characters, who would you recommend I play next that is a great comboer and damaging? I am fairly experienced so picking a challenging character is no problem. I only do not like the combos that involve stage unique hits... My main now is Nightwing but who do you think I should do next?
First of all, inputs would be a major help. I can decipher most of the combos but being positive im right would be nice. Also is it even possible to do the combos where you switch weapons mid-combo? Meaning he may have been nerfed?
Hi @hurtboxtv. when i do the meter burn ground slam, the opponent never pops up towards me. the opponent always pops up away from me. what am i doing wrong?
I don't get it how come when you use the meter version of ground slam your opponent is popped up in the air when in my game it just knocks down my opponent
