I really liked how you use the Canon things like error's haphephobia and ink's forgetfulness. There is a headcanon that about ink's forgetfullness, he writes things to his scarf to remember if he forgets.

Fun fact! I have a house in my AU where AUs live and rule 3 is......NO COOKING because I can;t trust anyone to cook so we usually have take out or something I can cook U-U (or if someone earns the privilege of cooking then they can)
