I am always on the hunt for the perfect “antique pink” as I like to call it. I think you would really enjoy Van Dieman’s Kitten Paws. ❤❤❤ It’s such a good pink-brown shade! Also, Van Dieman’s Bengal Tiger Blaze is basically Kitten Paws with a stunning champagne shimmer. Both are chef’s kiss for me.
I love that Talia color. I ordered the Opera Rose, I think after I saw Liane swatching it. I really like those brown-pinks. Hope I quickly get Opera Rose. I should be getting the Shape of Hearts fountain pen any day now and that ink will be perfect in it for Valentine month.
I agree. Most of these. I wouldn't consider having anything to do with pink. You've got brown, purple, coral and magenta, which I always consider a color group unto itself. So many are so pretty. I am loving "Dusky Pink." Notice I don't even try typing the whole thing 😂
Great collection. Pinks to try (from my collection): Herbin Bouquet d’Antan. De Atramentis Apple Blossom. Diamine Carnation. Pilot Iroshizuku Tsutsuji. Warm and cool pink tones for the different seasons. 😊
I had the same experience with KWZ brown/pink, glad it wasn't just me. I am trying to find a more saturated brown pink, but in desaturated colours I have wearingeul don quixote which is a great rosy brown. I am now very tempted by kitsune biyori... I fully recommend Laban aphrodite, it is my fave of the dusty pink/orange/brown inks. I agree that Sailor yosakura is pink, it is a close match to robert oster cherry blossom in writing
Pretty collection, I have Robert Oster Dusky Pink inked up this month; it's one of my favorites. You may want to give Inkebara #514 Brown Pink a try (this one is not purple).
Oh yes, this is a wonderful swatch of different pinks. Thank you!! I personally really like Colorverse Las Vegas, which is a bright pink with shimmer, a very shimmery ink. I’m not sure if it’s very legible in a fine nib (I have not tried it in a fine nib fountain pen), but I really like it using broad nibs. However, my favorite pinks are the rose colored inks, those look stunning in writing. Thanks again for this video!! 😘😘🤗❤️🙏
I love this comparison! I would not have pegged myself as a pink ink fan, but my collection is growing and with it being February, I do have a number of pinks, reds, and reddish browns. The Vinta Bimbini reminds me of FWP Spadina Rose. Shoot, I could have sent you some Cashmere Rose and Masquerade in the package that I just sent. Maybe I'll send another one soon ;)
Oh your love of pink inks has inspired me to buy bottles of colors I may have never thought to buy…. I love Taccia Ume Murisaki (this is my favorite pink… ) This video might persuade me to try this Vinta Bini Bini… 😍
If you like Taccia's Ume Murasaki, have you looked at Wearingeul's Don Quixote? I have it and it's absolutely gorgeous, a bit less brown/a tad more "pink" than Ume Murasaki. It's gorgeous to write with!
All shades are lovely! I can tell you my experience with Rouille d‘ancre: very dry. Writes barely with my Pilot iro-utsushi. Have it in a Kaweco (M) and it’s barely visible- which I use for my journal and that’s ok😅 Another even lighter I have is Octopus Living Coral and I don’t know about that one yet… Dusky Pink is one of my alltime faves 🥰
@@KarynaLovesToPlan I heard of that White Lightning, need to find an alternative in Europe (not UK 😉) to purchase for a decent price. I agree that apparently we have similar taste- with my small ink collection I see a lot of shades you have, too. My wallet will not be happy if I re-watch the other ink explorations and make a new wishlist 😅
Taccia UmeMurisaki, is absolutely amazing, and I do not find it dry at all…. I have this in my EF Visconti Bronze Age and I just put it in a B nib for the first time and ❤❤❤ i might be a convert (from EF/F gal to a B/Arc gal…🤔)
I just uploaded a video about my dusty pinkish inks. 😊 Rosa antico is one of my favourites, but I do also like „Old Rose“ from Kuretake, which seems to be a lesser known one. It is a bit similar to „Aphrodite“ from Laban. - Greetings from Germany! - Andrea
