A sac gauge is a very useful tool, but it must be used correctly. What it cannot tell you is the correct size of sac for a given pen, since that is determined by the interior dimensions of the barrel. Relying upon measuring the sac nipple will often lead you astray. In our previous video, we showed how a sac sized to the nipple can be too large to fit the barrel. In this video, we show how a sac sized to the nipple can also be too small for the pen to function properly. Finally, we show how a sac nipple intended for use with a necked sac can be fitted securely with a correctly sized straight sac that would otherwise be too large.
