A few years ago I completed the 1000 character just before arthritis in my hands overtook me. Watching this made me very emotional. Thank you so much. You have made me very happy❤
@@inkdifferentstudio I did all the characters on a long scroll that eventually led along my kitchen floor and out into the garden! I’d love to show you but don’t know how to send a picture. Initially I didn’t know the meaning of what I was writing, & was simply happy to treat each shape like one would a painting. As I practised i would become transported through the centuries, joining children who were doing exactly the same as me. Feeling honoured but also united alongside them. In those days each character was doubly special for me knowing each held an ancient secret within. Hidden knowledge and wisdom from thousands of years making the experience truly magical. As an old man in his seventies I shiver happily, remembering stroking those shapes into characters, & opening doors to an ancient past. Unreservedly I recommend everyone to do what I did. Start slowly & gently and let the magic do its work , I promise you won’t be disappointed . Stephen.
