I think that the blended die cuts look better than using a different cardstocks colors. I have loads of cardstock but rarely have all the right colors. I also still end up blending on them anyway. This is a beautiful and simple card!

You & your card had me @ Purple. That die cut flower is an awesome die to use to make a focal statement for a simple card. When you mix a great die cut with a few colors of ink the end result is a great looking card in a short span of time.
This is very. pretty. I really like the Perky Flower die. You also used one of my most favorite die that I purchased a while back. The SSS Sentiment labels.
You’re so brave adding everything to your card base I would definitely mess it up if I did that. I assemble everything then add it to the base would never get it straight otherwise
Cathy, do you have a label maker? You could put a small label on your ink pad holder to remind you which part of ink pad goes on which side of the holder
You can try running it under some warm water, let it air dry… it's not supposed to last forever, kind of like the mats you buy for electronic cutters like the Cricut.
