The tie scene is hard to understand, from what I make of it I think she had him come and hold the mirror cause she saw him talking to the other female in the store. Im not sure why he took the tie off though, maybe he just wanted it off or the other female was a store employee and recommended a tie that they have int he store? Had to make sense of it but as you can see in the rest of the video she has him waiting on hand and foot.
I think the other girl thought of him as a store employee and asking something about jewellery as he is wearing a tie like everyone working around. So he had to remove the tie and tell her that he is not an employee there.
