Inktober day 29: Massive
This year, instead of looking for inspiration on reference photo websites like Pixabay, I decided to create AI generated reference photos by using specific key words and descriptions. I think it will be fun and I hope this AI thing is really generating "original" pictures and not using copyrighted material. If so, please, let me know.
I've decided to participate again this year, for the 7th year in a row. I'll try to post a video everyday if I can to share my drawings, and post the drawings on Instagram as well (@ sandrinesgallery).

Very impressive, and definitely fits the description of massive! Have you seen this in person? When I saw one of these at the British Museum, what I remember most is that they had 5 carved legs! It’s right front leg which is straight, can be seen from the front or side view, but the left front leg which is at an angle can’t be seen from the front, (because the legs are carved in relief, on a solid block and the stone is not completely cut away around the legs) so there is an extra front leg, so that 2 legs can still be seen from the front view. This is hard to describe but hopefully it makes some sense.

I took this picture at the Louvre in Paris, and yes, it's pretty cool how they were sculpted. I find them amazing and soooo big!
