'INKY' Cephaloparade (KPOP-style Remix) - Splatoon 

i THINK that i'm INKY~ .................................
yes it's true, i'm kpop trash wow who would've guessed (literally anyone who knows me lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll) but even though i've been a fan of ITZY for a while now, i can't believe it took me this long to put together the fact that their "noise music" style goes HAND IN HAND with the OST of Splatoon -- particularly Turquoise October. and once i did come to this realisation OF COURSE i had to see it come to fruition, hence what you see and hear here........
for those whose brains have not been infected (good on you LMAO) and don't know what's going on here, i suggest checking out the song ICY by ITZY, since it was the reference track for this one and i basically copied all of it HAHAhaha.......... i couldn't NOT do it, ICY and Cephaloparade are literally in the same key it's uncanny. anyways i obviously had a LOT of fun with this one. kpop has inspired a lot of my recent work so it was a blast to really lean into it for this one!
i will say (as if i haven't already lol) SPLATOON TRACKS ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO TRANSCRIBE AND ARRANGE LOLLLLLLLL it's always such a challenge when i tackle splatoon stuff but it's so fun and cathartic to overcome it. in Cephaloparade particularly, there are so many little detailed lines to weave in and out of each other, like the trumpets and the filtered electric guitar. i tried my hardest to capture it all and adapt it to the style and interestingly i didn't do much changing of the melodies since it all slotted together quite well. so i hope you appreciate it!!!!!!

(if anyone is wondering about my favourite kpop groups, i am a SWITH so my ult group is STAYC, and then i guess ITZY and MAMAMOO, and a few others casually...........) (i swear i'm not a MIDZY, their music style just aligned really well here, at least i don't think of myself as a MIDZY but maybe i am lol akljsfghslkgjhsdgklj)
