this is my new favorite video of this channel. i could really feel the enthusiasm of you guys skating together in barcelona. so special! cant wait for berlin :D
Oh man that night section was sweet and now that I know who "Finch" is I can fully appreciate his appearance on the video. Saw him on a Seba x Canada add which, as a Canadian, I had to watch. I had a good laugh when you said "it's gonna be totally safe". When someone says that to me I just think, "yup, sure there buddy. Let me get all my gear juuuuust in case it's not as safe as you say." It also looks like the downhill is paying off, you looked quite impressive there Lino. As for Finch's answer at the end of "love", I gotta agree with him too. As much as I am no where as good as I want to be I love every stride, every jump, every little step getting better, yes even the falling and doing a good ol' butt plant. We have fun doing what we love.
No matter how good you are on your skates buddy the most important is the joy it give you and the one your share with the others, thanks for your great words Daniel
Funny fact at 5:26 Roger didn't skate in 15 years and started because of Lino's channel. As of October 2020, I didn't really skate in about 15 years. My passion got re-ignited watching "Alita - Battle Angel" several times at the IMAX movie theater in NYC. Haven't started since, but that lead me to Lino's channel (among others)... and I may start up within the next few weeks.
Really nice Video, can you tell us what kind of skates, frames and rolls u guys using in this video. REally like the Minh skate, but don't know which skate it is.
Michel Lange he is skating some flying eagle drift boots with intuition liners , flying eagle 125 frame and UC WHEELS. Skating powersldie kaze SUV boot with 125mm frame and powersldie wheels And finch stock seba's fr125 👍🏼👊🏼💥
@@RicardoLino Hi. Do you know how Minh managed to fit Intuition V2's in FE Drift boots? Because I only found informations that these boots have integrated liners... and it makes me wonder :)
Man, great video!!! And that sick downhill to the city, thumbs up for that. I was scared on a bicing bike going down there :-D :-D Thanks a lot for all the BCN videos, love the place.
I got back into skating a few months ago. Aggressive. But I like a smoother ride when I'm skating to work or home from work. I don't drive anymore cuz I work in the city I live so I rather skate. Plus I'm finding I'm having a lot of fun on bigger wheels. So I have my carbon usd skates for my aggressive skating and what I did was put a Powerblading frame, 80 mm wheels on my valo's for when I'm not hitting rails and stuff. Don't feel as good as it should but still fun. I want to get a real skate that's made more for the non aggressive stuff. Like travel or just skating around the city having fun. Seems like all the good skates are 500$ plus. I would like to keep it as under 300$ as possible. 200$ would be ideal but I'll go a little higher if need be. What could I get that's a really good skate for my Price range? I don't want junk and I'll wait a little and spend more if there aren't decent ones for the price I'm looking to pay. In last 5 months I spent over 1000 US dollars on aggressive skates parts and stuff. I'm thinking the 3 wheel skates are best for what I want but again, I want a good skate with a good frame. If you can point me at the right skate or any advice would be greatly appreciated. Again I really want to keep it under 300 US dollars.
Well that's not really true , skates like the USD AEON or valo v13/roces m12 are a lot cheaper , in fact they are under 300usd and both super solid skates . I know a lot of people like the possibility of changing the frame by I love how solid USD AEONS are, so I end up having 2 pairs , one 60mm and one 72mm and booth are still under 500 But that's my opinion, I also know a lot of people love carbon skates wtcZ The biggest problem is, with not as many people using hose skates it's hard for companies to invest in new mold or even pay the ones they are using , result = less models and more expensive skates . Thanks for your comment
Can an American join you guys? Lol :) been on an inline skate video binge lately. Wanting to get back into it. I’m also 36! Still have my skates from 1997, trying to figure out what kind to get. Three wheels are looking good.
Whoa how did I not know Barcelona was set up for skating! I was there a year ago and would’ve def bought some skates. Dope channel btw. I know this is 3 years late lol
Hey man, i live in portugal and i was looking for a website where i could order some skates to begin practicing. Do you know of any website that sells for portugal with good prices?
Hey man, I like you videos! I wanna start skating but I cant choose between some triblades like the Megacruiser or the SUV. We got different types of roads here and I like the versatility of the rubbertires, but I heard they suck hard on street and asphalt. I have a backinjury and a lot of pain when running for example -, but I want to get out and live again. The SUV maybe have good shockabsorbtion too? I really cant decide. There is no shop where I live so I cant test them. What do you guys think? SUV or Cruisers for a beginner? Do the SUV are really that bad on the street? Would like to know. Thank you :)
Hey. Major fan of you. Love your videos, but I don’t appreciate the subtle homophobia in reference to your shorts as being “gay”. I’m sure you mean well, but it doesn’t come across so nice. Still think you are awesome. Just didn’t sound good when you said that. Thank, Sam from Los Angeles.
Hey sam I'm really sorry if I made you feel that way. I really did not meant it in that way at all. I do have lots of gay friends and I'm so open about it, that joking about these things sometimes come natural, but just like the race talk I have been a lot more aware of it.. thank you for stating it and obviously for also letting me know. Lots of love LINO ❤
Ricardo Lino Right on! Totally appreciate the awareness and I understand what you mean. Come skate with us at Venice Beach when things are not so crazy!
Ricardo Lino thanks for saying that I was also upset hearing that because I love your videos and have learnt so much from you and was worried you didn’t support gay people. Thanks for your content.
This type of videos makes you love urban skating, felling the adrenaline in that tunnel, the music goes so good with the vibe! Amazing as always Lino, keep on rocking ❤🙌
Dude, with the way you show your energy, enthusiasm and the fun of skating is why I go to work every day on skates and even skate for hours in the weekends. Love your vids. Keep them coming.
Are you all on 125mm wheels? It seems every skate channel I see is dropping 4 wheels and and smaller tri skates wheels more and more. I was considering saving up for next summer to buy a pair of 110mm. Is 125mm just the perfect size no debate or are there also downsides? (of course all wheels will work, but I just notice that the great skaters out there all seem to be going to 125mm so there must be something to it right?)
Derek Simmons out of the box your totally right ! But in a week or so the wheels wear down a bit and their become perfect ! Fast , smooth and maneuverable !
Thanks for the feedback both! I'll keep it in consideration once I've saved up enough. I'm aiming for the Powerslide Imperial Supercruiser Pro 110 or Powerslide Trinity 125 Vanta. Best looking skates I've seen in a while, truly awesome models. For now I'll just start wrecking my K2 4x90s and just have fun with them.
I am not fluent in Portuguese but in the beginning of the video I laughed so hard in my ICT class when you whisked off from the Barcelona cop squad because I assumed you were calmly smack-talking those two in your native language (even though it's not a fact) (XD) lol. Was it rant?
nah..it all went down smoothly...they just told us not to film and i said ok..then when i left i said in spanish "the police dont want us to skate in the streets of barcelona" ;) thanks for the comment
48 likes & 0 dislikes - that's a Lino video! After watching your urban/downhill shredding I am thinking to myself 'James, you should really get a pair tri skates!'. Quick question- Any chance I can buy a skate, eat, sleep, repeat shirt? Would love to support with a purchase!
Hi James , thank you sooo much for the comment! Skating is just way tooo much fun.. and triskates are just fast and smooth so yeah,.. it's s good investment 👊🏼💥 About the shirt ,yes there is . They're made by my wife and if you send me an email to contact@linoskateshop.com , once I'm back I wil contact you 😊
Once again another great video. Wow im like am gonna have to get a triskate lol .Lino bro send me a triskate ill pay the shipping.. haha. Looks like such fun . I got into inline skating about 15 years after having my first pair now I have great respect for it. There's a bigger family connection of skaters I wasn't aware of. I understand your passion and effort to push skating even more. Lino, thanks for all you have contributed with your vlogs. Big up to Finch and the other skater. Btw it seems the down hills have been paying off. Skate safe.
Carajo y donde estan los mexicanos, por lo general siempre suele haber uno en algun video por youtube que ha comentado y aqui ninguno, well i am the first one, awesome video you can really feel the freedom to see them skate.
What's up, dude! 🙋🏻♂️ My foot size is 24 cm. What about thick socks for comfort (avoid calluses, skin friction prevention) it's additional +0.2cm. And plus swollen feet in hot summer time it's additional +0.2 cm. So, should I buy 25 cm or 24.5 cm (inside dimension)? I'm confused.
You guys are f*cking crazy, I love the video but in Spain Skating is regulated, same rules that riding a bicycle so, you must skate in the bicycle rail (top speed is 17 km/h) or the pedestrians rail (top speed 5 km/h) it’s a shame 😅
I’m sorry but there is no such thing as skating more real than other. I have lived in South Africa for over 5 years, i have been very lucky to travel to lots of places from China. To Angola. From brazil to Italy. Skating is skating but thanks for the feedback and keep skating
