I received the Myo Thalmic Armband (kindly sent by the FabLab Rennes, MHK) Searching on internet, I found a small software that allowed me to control an Arduino board with the Armband. So I created a script to see how I could have three different gestures to move the finger starter. The result is pretty good and very promising for to use on the InMoov2 hand.

RANDOMGAMER MC Did what on MAKE? If you mean the InMoov hand for Nicolas Huchet, then of course I know about it. But maybe you mean something else.

Damn it Gael, why is it every time I think of something cool to do, I find a video of you doing it first, and better ^_^. Do you know how much the Myo relies on the PC for processing? I was wondering if it could be connected to the arduino directly via a bluetooth board (since i would be wearing the piece i want to control, and dont want to lug a laptop around).

Hi, Zak,That is the goal, to remove the PC, of course. If you watch my other video with the new hand InMoov2, I talk about it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WNhZKFth9EM.html The new hand has a Arduino nano with bluetooth antenna and of course ideally would be to make them communicate directly without the PC in between. In the meanwhile, the PC could replaced and minimised with a Rasperry or an Odroid or a smartphone. But at this moment though, we cannot make the Myo directly communicate to the Arduino, though I'm sure it should be possible.
