Nobody talks about brake application on V8 nor is there a user manual on it. Why? Am I way behind time? Now tell me how to apply brakes on V8. Thanks.

I'm from Minnesota and recognized all these places in Minneapolis since I live in uptown! I had already set my heart on the V8, being the stereotypical frugal, but uncompromising Minnesotan that I am. Glad this confirmed my extensive research. Now just waiting until a refurbished V8 shows up on the Inmotion website, since I love a good discount! Thanks so much! See you around the lakes ;)

V10F with tiltback at 22mph is the buggy 2.2.6 firmware. They fixed it in 2.2.7. I had the same issue with the KS14D, lost some skin on the first day because of the pad rubbing. Nice video. Notice you guys wearing more protection after the Tesla race where a hand was broken. Good to see. Should promote ride safety with theses.

V10F 'detuned' but despite that, you did overheated it in your previous video when two others had no issue... so something is still no right with the V10. Could it be corrected by firmware or is it a design issue? It sure runs about 10Celcius higher than KS18L when running together.

I’ve just revisited you video. You two really do give a very good inside to the wheels you review. I bought a V8f as my starter wheel…absolutely love it!. I could not agree with you more regarding riding at high speeds. For myself 20 /25 mph is absolutely fine, the idea of riding an EUC at 35 /40 mph plus, is complete madness, and dare I say it, totally irresponsible. Also, having to ride your wheel dressed up like a star trooper rather defeats the whole point to me.. Thanks for your efforts..much enjoyed! Martin..in Italy.

danielld KS18L and Z10 are in the same class as 10F. Everything they said about 10F can be applied to those wheels as well. Big, heavy, long distance. But: z10 is the best :)
@natphil8377
@natphil8377 6 лет назад
Your definition of 'class' is iffy. 10F is smaller and also have a different movement dynamics. They all perform and feel radically different. Especially Z10 which is no ordinary 18-incher feels different from any other wheel, due to its unique width.

Hey guys. Wondering if you can help me out. I got a V8 and have had it for about 3 weeks. After about one mile I get a lot of pain in my feet to the point I have to get off and take a break for a minute or so. Is this because I’m new? Or where I’m standing on the pedals? I have the pedals set to factory settings which is -1.2 degrees. Hoping you can give me some advice. By the way you’re the reason I bought the V8 and I love it!

The V8 is great, but the battery realistically only lasts for like... 2 hours, maybe 2 and a bit hours. With EUCs you get the bug to go far. So the V8 is perfect for starters, but you'll grow out of it eventually. Edit: where’s the drag race video you were meant to link in the description? :o

Mileages vary, I have ridden 10,000km on EUCs with less than 500Wh battery, like the V8, and I am still not inclined to get one with a larger battery.

Im pretty sure that he's a nice guy in real life but that taller guy (sorry I don't know his name - first video of the channel I'm watching), just his accent, voice and laugh, sounds like an obnoxious lawyer who loves to hear himself speak. Kinda like jeremy piven in any of the many jerk role he plays or that Porsche-driving lawyer in Cellular. I know, it's superficial and sounds like a condemnation, but not my intent at all. Just saying it more as an obseeved fact. That low, slightly bassy throat voice somehow just doesn't suit his looks and age. Might be because he sounds like someone I know who happens to be a real deusch and I'm just associating the similar voices.

Guys, do not buy these wheels or any other EUC for that matter. I have this same exact wheel (Solowheel Glide 3) and when I was cruising along at 12-15mph it just shut off abruptly and I fell forward and off and hit the ground pretty hard. I wasn't accelerating hard or anything, just riding it normally as I had done for the 3 months since I had it (this was an upgrade from a previous wheel I had for a year). It didn't tilt back, give any alarms, it was like the balancing feature just cut off and the wheel went limp and fell forward. I hit the ground hard and broke my arm, cracked a rib, had to go to the ER. It was ugly. I'm telling you, these wheels rely on one feature (balancing) and if that feature fails due to a plug coming loose, the battery malfunctioning, or for whatever reason, you are pretty much screwed if you're going faster than you can run. It's super risky to ride on one wheel like this. If I was riding an electric skateboard this wouldn't be a problem because if it fails you still have four wheels to hold you up but if this thing fails you have nothing. Don't take the risk, it's not worth it. I can tell you that hitting the pavement the way I did was a serious wake up call. It's just not worth it. Don't do it. I could've been killed. Never riding an EUC ever again. I loved it until it malfunctioned and completely ruined my trust in it.

ProtagonistNonTheist This is an important comment. I was concerned because I just got a onewheel, and was thinking of getting a solowheel because of the onewheels Inferior distance and less top speed but I realized that using this item for 60 miles at 25+ mph means a single failure literally will fuck you up. No other vehicle puts you in this situation, not a motorcycle, not a car. Maybe a skateboard if you hit a bump due to its small wheels or LOSE BALANCE BUT that’s PRECISELY MY POINT. A UNICYCLE BY ITS DESIGN IS UNSTABLE WITHOUT BALANCE AND THE MACHINE IS COMPENSATING EVERY MICROSECOND FOR THAT NATURE. A dead car or a dead motorcycle means you come to a stop. So one may then say “well I wanna have fun”. Ok totally buy this that’s awesome and I have no problem. I support non-safe activities that are fun like dirt bikes. But this is marketed as a reliable alternative to get around, a commuter system that makes you go 30mph is no longer just about fun, it should practically guarantee safety, and by its very nature it cannot even remotely try to guarantee. Life has no guarantees in general but I am saying that this is like enjoying life with a 120lb ancient European sword hanging from your ceiling like the sword of Damocles. It may never fall while you’re under it but by its very design, gravity will win some day It’s not a matter of if, but when it fails. Cars fail, bicycles fail, computers fail, batteries fail. But the difference is when those other ones fail, they come to a stable stop. They lose speed but they do not risk your posture, Imagine cars that flip over when they have the slightest engine trouble or a motorcycle that automatically slides on its side when there’s any hint of ANY trouble. That is not GOOD. Do not use this as a commuter. Do not go super fast. This is meant to be a fun tool to casually go around town for quick stops. This is not meant to give you 25mph. For 60 miles. That’s just asking to eat it. Knock your front teeth out. This is to enjoy terrain and enjoy life. This is not a bus or bicycle replacement. You will get fucked up. Not tomorrow, not next week. But if you use it 5 days a week for years, it’ll happen some day. No car company could sell a car if it guaranteed injury within its 4-5 year life span. Stay away

Disclaimer for these excellent reviewers: 19:09 “I could’ve been killed.” We are all going to die, no one on this Earth “survives.” Good, you had a wake-up call - do you have all your affairs in order? When we die, and how, is infinitely varied based on how we live our lives. Close calls are what help us to learn and grow in our own unique way. Another person with your point of view may have simply fallen down some stairs breaking their neck and then started a rant about how unsafe stairs are, that they should be banned, that someone might be killed. Truth is, they have. But you see with this way of thinking we would have to undo just about everything we partake in simply because of the slight chance that anyone might get hurt and possibly die, god forbid because we all assume to know when the “right time” to die is now don’t we? Your reaction is also known as Virtue Signaling in psychology terms. You have deemed your own fate as a testament to how all humans should carry out their lives based on your own judgement. The truth of the matter, however, is that “misery loves company,” and you are miserable having fallen off your horse and haven’t the foggiest inclination as to mustering the courage to get back on. No, instead you assume everyone to be as weak and misfortunate as yourself.
