The bluetooth speaker is the only thing I find weak about this wheel. I liked the speaker on the 16x way better. Great review!

BUT I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE V12 Hi took.

This was my favorite wheel but I sold it at 400km for a minimal loss. I ride too fast to risk a cut out, but this was really the best wheel I've ever experienced. I'm now on Sherman Max, very different beast (but it isn't really bigger than the V12 surprisingly...) but it feels more awkward to go to the bar with it, I use my mcm5v2 for small commutes now :)

Great update Jon, I find the V12 so much fun to ride off road on MTB tracks, I really have to get my legs working, but it is so agile and responsive I just can’t stop smiling. I love the speakers for off road riding, having good tunes pumping on hard tracks makes me ride so much better. I have a Nobby tyre on mine which is awesome, I would love a decent strength rim to run lower pressure to stop some bouncing. The high torque looks like it could be for me.

Great feedback John, - Agree with the bluetooth speaker. I would take weatherproofing over a speaker that I never use. A clip on speaker gives way better sound. - I would like this one with the knobby tyre as the trails and canal path I ride is most of the time muddy and if not then its just a bonus. - Did you update to the new firmware that gives you mph and so on or you holding off on that? Thanks for sharing it does look like a great all round solid wheel.

Hi, I enjoy your videos! I'm about your age and size and have never ridden a EUC (or even skateboard) before. Would you recommend the v11 or the v12 for an absolute beginner? Or do you think it's not a vehicle for folks above 40? :)

I want one but so many dented rims. do you ever go off curbs or stairs on that?

I loved mine...until I bent the rim. Inspected it and found a hairline fracture. Waiting for a new rim\motor assembly to be available before I start riding it again.

I like the wheel. I love that my dealer and IM stand behind and service it. But from pre-order, to return for new board due to randomly crap mosfets, I'll be waiting nearly a year for a fully functional wheel that has long been fully paid for. This is not ideal. All that aside, thanks for the cheering video that makes me more look forward to finally riding my new-ish V12. Eventually. I do think IM could show it more of a priority to resolve this issue for current paid customers who went ahead and took the early risk of early gen purchase with more parts, before moving on to other things. Waiting 6 months for parts, even in today's world, is excessive. Especially while new V12's keep shipping and there's talk about moving on to the V13. How about fixing the V12's first, IM?

I've wanted one of these for ages but the area I am in the police are constantly taking scooters and stuff off people. And I cant be paying 1.8k to just have it taken off me haha.

Thanks for little share of excitement, I'm "difficult to decide" kind of person, so it took me some time to select V12 as my wheel and then mosfet thing happened and "back to the drawing board", in my heart though... it's sexy wheel. It's also the only wheel that can go a little bit faster but that isn't so heavy that it's "man only". (At least based on my understanding so far) Also, not particularly caring for speakers isnt an age thing, I am in my early 30s and I also dont understand the sentiment of playing music in public, particularly through average-at-best quality speakers. Maybe I am "ear-sensitive" but I dont think I've ever heard this kind of quality of sound and went "Well, it's good anyways" because it's an ugly distortion of music, It's so disturbing of the environment around you..and the message of it is 'hello, world, allow me to demonstrate to you my selfish genes'.. Gives me anxiety just thinking about it. Anyways, that's my ted talk. " if you are riding around in the wettest of conditions then it's your own stupid fault" - hehehe ))) "It's your own stupid fault" Would look quite nicely on a t-shirt in my opinion. p.s. Already subscribed to Jonathan Whalley's channel. Can't keep us, rebels, down. (And yes, it's the wheel that's gotten better at riding, I am sure of it! )

Haha Jon you do know the PIN feature is optional right? You don’t have to use it! I had a v12 but sold it due to the cutouts. I never experienced one but I got spooked. I’ll be happy to reconsider it in 1-2 years once reliability / consistency across units is proven out. One thing you didn’t mention is it’s heaavvyy. Sure, no Sherman but heavier than you might expect for a 16” wheel. It’s also big. That to me made me unsure of taking it to restaurants or movie theaters or bars etc. - curious to hear if you’ve done that? What do you think?

Got my deposit for a V12HT, be nice to have a go anywhere wheel that i can hose off when i get home. 37.5 mph top speed it plenty fast enough.

Don't buy this piece of crap. Mine V12 batch 2 broke after a month and only 220km driven: lights went off and bearings desintegrates. Until Inmotion solve ALL quality and design issues (including wrong mosfets rated 100V in a 108V wheel) just keep away from their latest products: V11 and V12 as well as V12HT
