100% agree with your link to walkability score - we absolutely bought as far away from a LRT station, mall and even considered annual destination events that draw large crowd that park everywhere and leave trash.... Evanston we ❤️ love you!

Agree. We are living on Royal Oak, its far away from almost everything and very safe. But we got used to more urban living (more walking, closer distances for amenities) in Ukraine, so most likely will be moving to some of the inner city communities.

@@yukon666 yes that’s the trade off for being in further suburbs Va inner city. Less walkable amenities. Best part is there are some amazing inner city areas you could consider in the future that are safe too!

I am from Toronto, I will take a walkable place over a dead neighbourhood. I have been living in Calgary for 11 months now and live in Eau Claire. The most annoying thing about living here are the scooters that actually should be up there for being "dangerous" and the amount homeless people doing copious amount of drugs along the riverfront by East Village.

Calgary and Edmonton used to be on par with housing prices. Now that Calgary housing prices have appreciated so much, Edmonton's housing prices are quite low and affordable. Why aren't people flocking there?
