I have a 2023 MSP coming in tomorrow and am looking to purchase 21-inch wheels for it. Kinda concerned about the tire wear. May I ask the use case for going with the N2itive adjustable arm vs just using the available shims that are out there? Outside of the adjustability what would be the benefit?
I had this done on my 2022 plaid, when you said the customer wanted the suspension " slammed " as you put it, I knew he'd regret it. I wish i had the shop set mine to medium hieght for the ride quality. Stupid that tesla doesnt allow you to keep the hieght where you want all the time. I realize that the alignment is set to the hieght but im considering bringing it back to set it higher. Im sure tesla wants it lower because of the range, id rather lose 10-15% range and not lose a filling over every small bump in the road. ( tire wear was so bad i lost a set of rear tires at 10k miles, come on now tesla ,fix this issue!!) I paid over 100,000 dollars for this vehicle.
So what was the final N2ITIVE link settings? Lower in the rear to level it off? Getting mine installed on Friday and was thinking -3 or -4 (front) -4 or -5 (rear).
@_Afryca Ok.. So the truth is I did -4 in front and -6 in the back to level it exactly as you suggested. I didn't want to mention it because (in my experience) the car's computer will flip out and become undrivable if the difference is too great front to back. So I don't recommend it, and do so at your own risk.
@@AustinEVonly thanks I got it done at -4, -6 which was like a 1/2” drop. Which really isn’t that noticeable of a drop, there’s still like a finger or two space between the wheel. I’d probably go lower. For reference the unplugged kit is lower
