Non so se ti sfugge il significato di Cattolicesimo... forse tu rispetti il Cristianesimo, ma se credi che la chiesa fà schifo il Cattolicesimo non lo puoi rispettare. Io da Cattolico mi rendo conto che la chiesa a volte sbaglia ma mi rendo anche conto che quest'ultima è composta da uomini che sono come tutti noi. A volte invece non sbaglia (ma gli altri credono che lo faccia) perchè si basa su quello che c'è scritto sulla bibbia che non è condizionata dai mutamenti di costume della società.
Sono passati 11 mesi dal commento che ho lasciato in precedenza, e, anche se non ho capito cosa hai scritto, ti posso assicurare che ci sto riflettendo molto ...
The Queen is the head of the Anglican Church. The Pope is the head of the Catholic Church. The Queen is head of state of the UK. The Pope is head of state of the Vatican. Two very good reasons as to why the Pope is in Edinburgh. The Queen visited the Pope in the Vatican/Rome as well
@@anacletwilliams8315 huh? The Queen (British government) set up the meeting, not the Pope. If they wanted him in London he would’ve been in London. Plus, it was a pastoral visit, not just a state visit. So it doesn’t matter where it was held anyway. Not to mention that the Queen didn’t have any other options. She had to meet him in Rome because the Vatican only encompasses a small portion of Rome. There aren’t a thousands of cities as options.
@@ajon6205 Oh dear! So many mistakes in mere five lines! The Queen does not represent the British government, but the British State, as she is the Head of State, not the Prime Minister. If it was, as you claim, a pastoral visit there was not much sense in the Queen meeting His Holiness since Elizabeth and Ratzinger do not share the same religion and finally if you consider the Pope as Head of the Catholic Church - that is, the Universal Church - they could meet pretty much anywhere for a pastoral gathering since the spiritual authority of the Pope reaches far beyond the Vatican walls.
@@anacletwilliams8315 Yes, I know the Queen is not the prime minister you dope. The government of the UK is both the state and parliament. The Queen is a government official. And he met with the Queen primarily as head of a head of state. And the news coverage of the time called it a “pastoral and state visit”, so maybe do some research.
