All your Avril covers are perfect, capturing the original's essence without simply imitating it, and your voice adds a unique touch. But this one, in my opinion, is the best and the saddest. I've listened to Avril's live acoustic performance of this song from the Roxy Theatre on RU-vid, with Evan's backing vocals, at least a thousand times over the years. In your version, the absence of those backing vocals creates a sense of emptiness, almost as if the void symbolizes the end of Avril's best era when she was with Evan. This was perhaps just a speculation but they did the Roxy version after he got friend-zoned and she married the lead singer of Sum 41. Not that it matters much, but it definitely adds some flavor to the live performance.:)

I used to sing this when I was in high school. Then Spotify recommended it again, based on my preferences, and I still remembered the lyrics. And as soon as I hummed it I said okay, let's just do a cover right away.
