Deciding where to go during your Innsbruck ski trip can be a daunting task with so many options. Hopefully this guide gives you a little more insight about what to expect from the different options Innsbruck and the surrounding areas have to offer.
It's going to be tough deciding where to ski or snowboard! Stubai Glacier, Axamer Lizum, At.Anton, Lech, Ischgl, Obergurgl, Hochgurgl, Kuhtai, Schlick 2000, Nordkette, Patscherkofel, Mutteralm, Seefeld, Glugenzer, and the list keeps going.
The best ski area or resort is up to you. Personally, I look for a well rounded experiecne that includes good food. My trips to the mountain are about more than just hitting the slopes. Sometimes I am willing to make the trip to the glacier, but sometimes I just want to do a couple of runs and be home by lunch.
Every resort has it's positive and negatives.
My next video will cover one of my favorite culinary experiences while hitting the slopes around Innsbruck. Hint: It's at Schlick 2000.
