You can see it with about every ready upper cut and straight he throws. That’s why Nery was able to counter him. If tank vs Inoue happens, inoue is going to have to keep that hand up if he wants the fight to be competitive.

3 things I learned in this fight regarding Naoya: 1. You have a chance against Naoya when he's testing you in early rounds 2. If you piss him off, it's not going to be a good night for you 3. If he hates your guts like he hates Nery, he will try to legally execute you That last shot that put Nery flailing on the ropes was so nasty, it was like watching ragdoll effect in real life.

If you have followed Inoue's recent interviews, you'll find out that Inoue prioritises entertaining the crowd quite high and doesn't want to play it safe and win by points. Knowing the history of Nery and Japan, emotions are sure to run high and it clearly shows that Inoue didn't respect Nery in the first round and was throwing wide punches he never really does. I hope he learns to control himself and not get too eagerly overwhelmed by emotions in the ring, 'cause a better boxer would have done real damage to him there. Still p4p #1

Running teams fumble, passing team throw interceptions, fast ball pitchers give up homeruns etc. Seek and destroy fighters like Inoue get hit, it's a byproduct of his fighting style. lol not one person is saying that bc that would be absurd to suggest tank isn’t way too big for Inoue. That’s the exact statistical equivalence of saying “Tszyu and Mendoza’s inside fighting style game Fundora a test ppl will say Tank can get him”. Well, yeah inside fighting is a weak point for Fundora but no one thinks or suggests two guys multiple divisions apart would be a contest. Tank would flatten inoue. He should. Nothing against him.
