- We are here with INPAK at Plast Eurasia Istanbul Fair. Let's check what Mustafa Eren, Marketing & Business Development Manager at Inpak, would say us. The intensity of foreign visitors has taken our attention. What would you say about the fair?
There has been an increase in number of visitors and quality of visitor profiles in years. Turkey is the 2nd biggest country for converting plastics in Europe. There are many plastic machinery companies and end-product producers in different fields. This potential in Turkey attracts many foreign visitors. The fair has been quite good as we have had several useful meetings.
- May this joy be with you during the fair, in following 3 days. We observe the development of Inpak which was established in 2006. We know that Inpak has a deep experience even before its establishment. What would you say more about it?
First of all, Inpak is an engineering company with strong mechanical, electronic automation R&D departments. The software is %100 our development. Critical parts are manufactured in house and we have been using latest manufacturing tehcnologies. But, what makes these gathered systems work well is engineering. The culture comes through previous experinces as Mr. Rıdvan, general manager, had signature projects. We follow his vision with up-to-date corporate strategies.
- We thank you Mr. Rıdvan for these successful machines and contribution to Turkish Export. Which countries do you work with?
Currently, %90 of our produced machines are exported. We exported to 6 continents and 42 countries so far. All of our machines - Almost 400 - are active and working around the World. We follow them all as we have very good and close relationships with users.
- It seems difficult to mention them all in minutes.
Right, that's why we say we are in 6 continent in shortly.
- Considering your product range, what is your target market?
We have customers from different sectors but our focus is food packaging producers.
- Where Inpak stands at when it comes to after sales support and services?
Unlike car sellers, our aim has never been getting income from after sales periods. Our annual aftersales income is less than %2 compared to annual machine sales revenue. The more reliability and quality our machines have the better for us and also for our customers. Production continuity is expected in Packaging sector. We take all precautions starting from Project development stages and then in all sequential stages to ensure 7/24 production. We have ability of remote access to the Inpak Machine for immediate control and fault finding. We show fast reactions when any technical support is asked.
- You have a new model which was presented in Germany and now it is also here.
We used to answer market requirements with 2 main models. These are TS-800 and TS-850 thermoforming machines. We launched our new model, TS-1000, during the K Show 2019, The World's biggest plastics and rubber exhibition. TS-800 & TS-850 are self-proven machines. They are ideal in terms of price over quality and performance. TS-1000 enables you producing higher number of products in a unit of production time. TS-1000 would be more preferable in markets like US where less mould change-over is seen and high volume of mass productions is required. TS-800 and TS-850 are recommended for the need of relatively higher flexibility like boutiqe productions. We have suitable machines accoording to different needs and expectations.
- Your manufacturing is based on orders only. What's next, your targets in future?
We analyse 2-way supply chain of our customers, understand their needs, recommend machine configurations. We provide technical consultancy. We develop customer spefic projects, if it is needed.
- So it is like a solution partnership.
Right, exactly. For instance: in-mould cutting machines where forming and cutting is made at the same station. This machine will be coded as TSR-800 and will be launced in January, 2020.
