Hi Tony, great video, I've just been looking for information on this radio, and you popped up, I'll catch you on the local channel over Christmas, cheers for now mate, 👍
For the PTT button issue. Go into Zello, options, push to talk buttons. Select the Hardware button, uncheck the box that says "Handle button in the background when possible". Enjoy.
Thanks you for the vid, you answered my questions about dual sim? YES mobile and network radio YES. Excellent work, please make more, very informative 👍
Nice video. I have the T320 but like some chunkiness to my handhelds so for network radio I prefer the Radiotone RT4. This also looks like a very thin device so will probably pass but the on/off on the volume dial is something I've been wishing for now for ages.
You can log into Zello without PTT4U. I use Wifi when at home and sim card when out and about. Quite a few of us have the S200 over here in UK and works with our cell networks. We buy them from a company called Radiocommz at around £180 British Pounds.
Hi Tony. Ive got the same looking speaker mic as you. However when i paired mine it only works as a bluetooth speaker and the mic is mute. Iam using Zello. Any ideas ? Thanks
Hi. First, nice video. Thanks for posting. Second, what is this for? I am confused? I understand that you need a SIM card and an app like Zillo in order to use these radios. But doesn't a cell phone do exactly that!? So why buy a radio like this? Back in the days when cell phone plans were expensive, I can see getting one of these, but today, plans are so cheap, is it worth getting a network radio? Or am I missing something here? Besides, you can use an app like WhattsApp as well and talk for pretty much free. It uses very little data so the lowest data plan will do... Thanks.
Doesn't anyone remember Nextel? Maybe it was only in America but this is just a better iteration of Nextel. Cellular radios are amazing for logistical dispatch and construction work. They work great for bike messengers taxi drivers etc.. plus it's much tougher than any cell phone. You can use it with gloves when it's below zero. Whatsapp is not even close
Hi Tony you said the belt clip is not very good, could you tell me what the mounting hole centres are for it please? I want to see if I can get a klick fast fitting for it before ordering the radio
The hole will take a Anytone 868/878 belt clip. The mounting holes are set 3cm apart (That's centre to centre) I do know someone that has managed to get the correct Klikfast, and I am waiting for him to send me the link and I will post it on here.

@@tonybutcher7829 most of the time to save taking a 2nd Device out with me i will use my rt4 to make and receive calls, especially when out on foot or on my bike so for me it would be a pain, but yes I know most will still just carry a Mobile phone for call's.
No licence required as its basically a mobile phone app. There are dedicated phones/radios (S200 etc.) They either use the cell network (if you put a sim in) or home/mobile wifi or via your phone data plan to start off with.
Go into zello, settings and assign a ptt button. Then when you see hardware button, remove it. It will still work but it won't pop up when you use peanut or teamspeak. I did that on my T320
RU-vid etc. is installed as standard. I have remove all the non essential apps, (RU-vid, Contacts Phone etc) as I do not require them and it frees up a lot of memory. The handset will function as a phone but as described in my video there is no small speaker for private conversation as you would use on a normal phone, only a loudspeaker. For private calls I would use a bluetooth headset or like I do use a normal phone.
