Thank you for being one of the few Americans that knows the difference between league and union. In time they will all know the great game of league tho
Rugby greed is boreing hit the ball up for four tackles one out crap trow it wide on the fifth and a down town on the sixth or a 40/20,that's real entertaining I.dont think. You are delusional butthead.
@@Strathdonite personally I have played both and can see some of the catch and passing in rugby is fantastic but league is tougher because we are always moving, very rarely we get a break and because of that all our decisions are split second under massive fatigue and while you have someone inches away from smashing you. It's just mentally and physically more draining
In the NFL, the cracking sounds come from the helmets and pads clapping against each other, here in the NRL, the cracking sounds come from bodies smashing against other bodies! Glorious!!
If your want to see scary aggression find some footage of Jared Warrea Hargreaves. He didn't get to play in Vegas (I think he is on suspension from last season)
💯 great NRL hit compilation...Been trying to get you to react to this for awhile now. Rugby hit's till I collapse is a NRL rugby league video too. I've gotta a few more other great NRL compilations still online if you're interested.
Something that your viewers may not know, when these guys get hit, the play doesn't stop. That's why the opposing team pile on them to complete the tackle.
Nothing better than going to the game & hear body to body contact & the noise that echoes around the ground! Nothing in Rugby League sounds better than that
@3:09 is not state of origin. Just give u a run down on all 17 teams in the NRL, club clolours, clubs names & mascots as well as nicknames & where each club is situated. I hope that'll help u out a bit to understand who the teams are 😊
NRL Going to Vegas this year trying to promote the game over there,Winfield cup is where & when shoulder's & fight's happened, look up kiwi Kevin Tamiti & Greg Dowlin league test fight.
Just a bit of trivia, South Sydney Rabbitohs (not Rabbits even though we call them the Bunnies) were named after the rabbit meat vendors that plied their trade at halftime during the early years of the rugby league. They would call out 'Rabbitoh' to sell their wares.
Well done on your research and willingness to differentiate between League and Union. The fact that you knew who the Manly "bash brothers" were was impressive. Union has some very tough men, big bodies and the game requires a lot of physical confrontation. But league, specifically NRL, is next level. The collisions occur at faster speed and the intent of the defence is to inflict pain. State or Origin from NRL is another level again! That said, I don't want to diminish to toughness of the NFL. The fact all players have pads on means the helmet is used as a weapon. Will be interesting to see how the USA reacts to the NRL games in Las Vegas
Look, tbh this is the closest to NFL that you are going to get. But there is no finesse in this game. Its bumper-car rugby. Yes, I love the big hits myself. But the gameplay is too linear. Also, their scrums suck. Its like touch rugby, with a more physical touch. I still love the RL. We just need to see more three dimensional plays.
Well, just don't watch "biggest hits" videos. Watch someone like Shaun Johnson or Billy Slater or greatest tries instead. It would also be easy to make a "highlight" video of Rugby Union that made it look pretty lacking in creativity, particularly to the uninformed.
These are not even the biggest NRL hits not enough of the bloodbaths of the 50's 60' and 70's even the 80 's ,Rugby hits till i collapse is a good example or State of Origin fights , Rugby League is much more explosive and a faster game then Rugby Union
You mentioned his name a few times wondering where Steve Matai was. You had to wait until number 1. Most of the tackles shown here are now illegal, and would incur a penalty. The "shoulder charge" tackle has been outlawed as too dangerous. If you hit a player with a shoulder, your arms must be wrapping around him (or trying to).You can't tackle a player in mid air, he mush have his feet on the ground. I hope you're going to watch the two games the NRL is putting on in March in Las Vegas. Watching highlights doesn't show you what the game is really like. You'll enjoy a full game.
Hi Sean ....thats what they say now , " These sort of tackles are equevilant to ' car crashes ' John ( this is the NRL , it's way harder esp in tackles)
I love when Americans say that our sports are shit and soft but here we have this legend reacting to our sports going crazy watching our stuff. I don’t think Americans can say the NFL is a better sport and tougher sport when they have to wear a full ass mattress on their body to take a hit. Be a man and get hit like an Aussie league player. Love the videos brother keep it up 🫡
Appreciate you. But I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again. I’ve never heard any American ever call rugby or AFL soft. They actually praise it for being some of the craziest sports. Don’t believe the propaganda lol
@@RareSoulTV haha yeah no I know that’s it’s just the few people I’ve seen say it or have had someone say it to me on FACEBOOK and other social platforms (twitter). Love all sports including NFL love watching the game and chucking a few sneaky bets on it haha.
