It really does look like crap. Bad graphics, gunplay that proves they did about 4 seconds of homework on the guns, this game even does the thing where you die and just fall on the ground and make the same "BLERG" sound. I've fired an mg-42 and those things are NOTHING like the real gun. They fire like cap guns in this video but in reality feel like all hell breaking loose in your hands with a sound like your being screamed at by Saran himself. Plus, when did the machine gun overheating mechanic come out? Like 15 years ago. This game seriously looks like resistance and liberation, with ever so slightly better graphics.

Yep, still is. Although the WW2 part is being worked on and is currently not available unfortunately. But the game (Project Reality) is still kicking ass, yes.

I played it with 200 players a couple of times, but back then my pc couldn't really handle that amount of awesomeness :-D.

pretty sure it's tripods and also a gun that's firing at 1200rpm with a large round has insane recoil on a tripod lmao. In ww2 they didn't spray mg42s they would fire them in bursts because of recoil and saving ammo. Also all the guns in DoW have 0 recoil it's dumb
