Octometh I ride a 450SXF lol, I just enjoy seeing someone on "inferior technology" show people up. I have an RM125 set up for hare scrambles, so I can relate to the feeling of going passed the big four stokes on my little 2 banger.
Matt Labbadia pros don't have a choice on there bike... They get a 4 stroke and that's it. Plus no one is going to pick a 2 stroke because they can have a 4 stroke with double the cc's.... But for Enduro racing 2 stroke is the superior buke
Great run.... you're a very clean racer. Found your own lines and made no mistakes after the first spill. Love that 2 Stroke. Keep riding hard, it helps to get yourself in shape for the longer races.
I see what you mean. Squeeze the life out of the bike with your legs I guess. I had to learn. 10 miles into 20 miles worth of crazy trails with your buddy on his lt500 it's squeeze and gas it or have your forearms look like Popeyes and get dusted/roosted/toasted.
Crazy talent in such a young kid. Not to late for me though. I've heard of guys starting in their late 20's early 30's that are b riders at their local races. Anyway. Keep ripping buddy.
I know it sounds dumb to say, but 2 strokes just sound like they are going faster... I wonder what someone would say that has considerable experience on both 2 and 4 strokes to someone looking to get back into riding? Should that person go with a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke?
Tayjai Lytle He pulled in the clutch, tapped the rear brake, revved it then let the clutch out and the engine had to spin the rear wheel back up to speed making the rpm quickly dip down then back up.
It's up to the race promoter who can run with what. Normally it's 125/250, 250/450 like in the pros. I know at Loretta Lynns two years ago they did not do any handicapping system. It went only by CCs. 250Ts could run in 250F class. Not sure if they still do it like that. They said it was to promote 2 stroke racing which they viewed as more affordable to the family racing scene.
i think it's comparable or a 175 maybe... and i think it's time ama should allow or should increase the allowed 2 stroke max displacement in lites and in 450, 150/175 in lites and 300/350 in 450 class...
+teeburshow They removed 2 strokes from the AMA due to emmission laws I believe. Sadly though, 2t's just don't get the same torque and this means they don't get the same traction. Where the pro's used to struggle hitting certain jumps on 125's, they can now hit them on 250's a bit easier.
It's not the bike as much as the rider. FUCK! I just bought a 4 stroke and can't help but wonder if I shouldn't have got a two stroke. I have always rode 2 stroke! Oh well now I have a excuse to buy another bike!! Eeeeee yaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
Im late af but no it aint,i dont do motocross but i have been doing bmx race for 5-6 years and when you crash into somebody else you will see the ground quick af xd
