That is true, but he is also an entertainer. When he stops being entertaining, then you will see what people really think about him. Fortunately, the entertainment industry is one of the best ways to cut through the BS of racism and expose people to someone they otherwise would have dismissed. it is also the very reason why the art that black people and other groups have been adopted and somewhat appropriated by the masses including white people who even without nefarious intent, further aggregated those art to their kindred; thus diluting the muck that is racism. Naturally, true racists will remain committed to their cause, and no art can cut through them, but death. If one's culture and art is good enough to be appropriated, then it is good enough to help people find common ground even on a most basic or even passive level. It creates a baseline to which acceptance may be cultivated and ultimately flourish.
