On this kayak catfishing trip, I started out trolling a main channel ledge with suspended pieces of cut bait looking for post spawn catfish. I ended up working down river to a deep hole where I found fish stacked up. The bite was on and I couldn't keep my baits in the water.

Justin how long does the battery last on your trolling motor and running that fish/depth finder and do you have a whole big ole 50 lb 12 volt marine battery in the back of that kayak or what? I love that you don't weigh or measure your fish unless you're doing a slot tournament. I don't care about that mess either. I know when I've caught a donkey, and it doesn't matter to me what other people think of it. Heck I'm so fat, all my fish look like dinks in the pictures anyway :)

Man I've watched you catch some really cool catches over the last few year's. From huge striped bass to a ugly spoonbill on light tackle and a big spoonbill by a grab hook even a trotline full of catfish two at a time one one hook 2 at a time 1 on bait 1 on stinger. Awesome footage Justin

Love your videos! I wish you would give at least an estimate of weight on your fish. It’s not about bragging or a pissing contest since whether you tell how many inches or how many pounds you’re still telling the size of the fish. I am just accustomed to weight when it comes to catfish and can’t make a good guess on camera. I like to know the size of what you’re catching just out of curiosity and have always judged fish on weight.Thanks.

Love your channel, I’ve been subscribed for a while now. I watch every video you post. I’m just curious…. Do you think the catfish slime you get on your line after catching a fish bothers other fish from eating your bait? Maybe when they come up and look at your bait and you can see them on the graph and they turn away maybe they can see the access catfish slime and don’t want to bite it? Just a thought I had. I know when we crappie fish and catch a cat if you don’t wipe the slime off your like you won’t catch another crappie.
