I usually listen to ICP when I’m feelin alone and depressed to cheer myself up. This by far made my day. Thank you ICP. The coolest wicked clowns ever.
Ive had a shitty day. Listened to ICP for the first time today and like magic it put a huge smile on my face. I wish you a wodnerful day dear internet stranger.
Same. I just had the worst day I’ve had in years. And this just made me almost happy cry. Things may be shit, but I always got my juggalo family and homies to help out. Whoop whoop!
ICP might not be what most would consider rap gods, but they're aware that they are actually influencing people. I respect that they choose to spread positivity instead of rapping about how cool they are.
I feel you, but this song is an outlier. Most of their songs aren't positive at all. I'm not really familiar with the newer stuff. But everything up to the wraith albums was overwhelmingly negative In tone. Granted, the negativity was usually presented in a cartoony fashion. Regardless, "spreading positivity" never seemed like a motif in their music
@@OffTheRailGaming @Dylan I'm not hating. I just disagree with the sentiment that ICP spreads positivity. For example, look at "The Great Milenko" (an album that I think most juggalos will agree is their best). The album is filled with songs about murdering innocent people (including children), pessimistic views of society and relationships, and descriptions of what the authors view as "cool" in reference to themselves. Song by song: "Intro"- no lyrics "Hokus Pokus"- nonsensical lyrics with an overall negative and violent tone "Piggy Pie"- depicts acts of violence against innocent people who haven't had a just trial for the crimes they're accused of. "How Many Times"- extremely pessimistic views of society with undertones of suicide and murder "Southwest Voodoo"- more nonsensical lyrics with the same violent tone "Halls of Illusion"- more depictions of murder, torture, and violence, with strong implications of revenge as justice "Under the Moon"- pessimistic view of relationships using mental illness as a catalyst for obsession and violence "What is a Juggalo?"- defines what the authors regard as 'cool,' which includes self-mutilation and violence toward those who disagree "House of horrors"- even more nonsensical lyrics depicting violence towards innocent people "Hallelujah"- a pessimistic view of organized religion "Down with the Clown"- again, more nonsensical lyrics with undertones of violence. Plus an insistance on unquestioning devotion toward the authors "Just like that"- negative depiction of both soda and cereal. Seriously though, it's about an innocent guy who is murdered in a drive-by shooting "Pass Me By"- the best song on the album in my opinion. It's a fairly optimistic depiction of life after death, which is used as a motivation to be a kind and selfless person. It's possible to view this song as propaganda used by the authors to gain/manipulate a cult-like following. But since the authors wrote the lyrics in the first person I don't think that's the case. Besides, ICP already had a cult-like fan base by the time this song was written
its depressing how many people misunderstand what icp is about ....the most stupid one i recently heard was a person saying icp sings abut murdering people ....
let him have his fun, hes talking about when he first heard the song not when it came out. this is whats wrong with the world. leave people alone dude@@infurnus89
I had a cool teacher like that in high school, she let me do a book report on Howard Stern's Private Parts. She gave me an A but asked next time pick a different kind of book lol
This shit is beautiful... it speaks on a very real human condition. You could be shit on all day, treated like garbage, but then find your people, the ones you can be YOU around, and the rest of it just fades away when you're with your homies. The need for acceptance vs the need for finding yourself among your true friends, that's some really deep shit that every human on the planet can relate to.
I found out after work that my best friend died in his sleep today. He was 39. We used to chill in his back yard and smoke a little and drink beer while he played this on his loud speaker. Today, this song has become personal. Love your people, everyone. RIP Johnny.
My brother, life long jugallo, killed himself yesterday. This is the song he wanted played at his funeral. ❤ Gonna be crying forever, I love you, Randall Cass.
Pri Sparkman no need for thanks, but I do clearly understand that it’s hard losing someone you hold most precious towards. It can be precious when it’s earned to you and the hard fact remains that we can’t always help everyone with problems unless it’s done by yourself or family if it means that you want to try and trying is all that matters most. This world can be cruel and have a lack of justice but, never in doubt lose your humanity and your own soul, because being you is a gift and don’t let others taunt you for being different because having a real heart takes self-respect and loving those who represents your own lake of consciousness or rather a sense of a ‘real soul’.
Metalhead here, but I have respect for all forms of music. A lot of my friends are Juggalos too. Don't worry about the haters guys, you keep doing your thing.
i was a hiphop/emocore/raver type mf and my bestfriend had a hatchetman tattoo (he was a crip and a raver/burner) til the police let him die in lockup lock up. i used to think this ICP and the culture was funny until i lost him and realized everyone was welcome if they was down to just chill
I discovered them back when the game backyard wrestling came out on Xbox I bought all their CDs And had their music on my mp3 before iPods came out lol I’m here in 2023 wishing it was 2003 again Miss those days of listening to these guys while skating with my “Homies” around the neighborhood I’d go back in an instant
I knew a juggalo in HS and he was a good friend, even went to some concerts with him. I wasnt dressed up or into the music but the juggalos were so welcoming and they made it fun id definately go again.
it makes me sad how much people just dismiss icp and don’t actually listen to their lyrics and messages their music was my release to just get to jump around and go crazy when i was little and now that i’m older i pay more attention to the lyrics and they had so many good messages
@@rhawes417 sorry i’m responding so fast i was just watching an h3 video already when this notif came but idk maybe i’m thinking too much into it but when i listen to the lyrics in this song it reminds me of my best friend who passed away and she was the person i did all this stuff with that they talk about and it brings me comfort that i’ve like found my own family in a way even tho she’s passed it that makes sense at all
I love the sense of community that music builds. We're all living our own lives, going through our own shit, but here we all are, listening to the same song. I genuinely hope y'all have a great day :)
I'm not a juggalo but I've got respect for all of them. They don't give a fuck about anyone's opinions from what I've seen. You guys are cool in my book.
Like Cannye West with the not caring. They should do a cover of "We are the World" with him, Donald Trump and honey boo boo's mom. Someone get on that.
Man this song changed my life, I’ve played it for years every time shit gets real. It’s so true that at the end of the day it’s your homies that show up when the shits deeper than you can handle! Icp man.. the family at a whoop-whoop!
Since leaving the gathering, this song makes me cry every single time. Juggalos are some of the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. MCL 💙
I gotta say that one of the greatest feelings is not just having that friend who reaches out to you, but you being the one to reach out to somebody who so badly needed a friend. Not just to receive, but to give is an awesome thing! Thanks ICP!
TJ Bradley If its so gay then why come here? Why do people have to make such a big deal over what someone likes? look, if you don't like it, i understand, I don't even like all their songs, but there is no need to talk shit.
No matter if you don't like icp or not this song and juggalo island should make you understand how wholesome their family is down with the clown for life much love to all the clown family
This song is one of the greatest songs ever made, no matter how old it is, it is ultimately timeless because the message of it is still so true and so strong today. MCL 💙
I just lost my cousin a month ago, who was my best friend, and the only brother I ever had growing up, because I only have a sister. He got me into all of these guys back in 2000 I think. And up until he was tragically killed in a wreck, we were still close and talked. He was my best friend. The only one that could relate with being a Juggalo and loving this music. I hear this song, and Pass Me By now and just burst into tears. I still can’t believe he’s gone. And I’m struggling hard. But I still feel close to him listening to the music he got me into. RIP to all of our fallen homies..
This need to play when when you're out in the night with you're Juggalo homies just chilling and having the time of you're life, Whoop Whoop Juggalo 4 Life.
Remember your friends from youth, as those will be the only real best friends you will ever have. The only people who will ever really know you. They will know you from the most vulnerable and trying time in your life. Keep in touch with them. Its important
I ain't no Juggalo... but I sure as shit ain't no Juggalo hater either. You ever watched Big Money Hustlas? That shit is HILARIOUS! These guys are funny af.
I'm 42 and been a juggalo since late 95!!! This was me and my little brothers anthem, he hung himself 3 years ago, and this song always makes him feel close. WOOP-WOOP, HOMIES FOR LIFE
to the people hating and talking shit if you don't like this music don't listen to it don't comment negativity on something that shows love to so many people
Wouldnt consider myself a juggalo but theres a sense of community and realization of people who stick together despite any and all odds. I think thats incredible. Shout out to all of you, and keep setting that confederate flag on fire
I like a few ICP songs. Wouldn't consider myself to be a juggalo but I love what they stand for. From what i can tell they're some of the coolest, kindest people who just wanna have a good time. They take their family values seriously. We could learn a thing or two from the juggalos. Been watching some of the gathering videos and that shit looks like so much fun.
A buddy of mine LOVED icp! He took his life a few years ago...this song always remind me of him...rip bro! i wish we hung out more...i wish we talked more...i wish i could have helped you...ill always jam to icp for you bro!!! I dont believe in heaven but if i did i know youd be there playing the sickest drum set and jammin to icp when your not💜💚homiez even after death bro!
Listening to this as a kid I felt like I was being seen as a thug. Listening to this as an adult I feel like this is how LIFE is! Find your true friends who will always love you for who you are!
@skewby dew if this is a hate message which needs to be spelled correctly, please stop wasting ur time on here bashing ICP fans you're favorite artist needs defending too from haters lol.
How can you not!? But if you want another song to bash your heads around to give us a try ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HSQHdx3374E.html
HHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMIES!!! I didn’t even know this group until I was 20-something but since then I’ve gotta admit I have favorite songs. I’m 38 now and I come watch these videos all the time. Juggalos get a lot of shit but proudly rock the facepaint or hatchet man tats and I really respect that.
I'm probably the only person on this planet that sobs uncontrollably to this song. I miss my brother, this was one of his favorite songs. William Patrick Dowell 12/09/89-10/19/17
this song brings back so many memories. i remember when i was a kid, me and my dad would drive around in his big clunky old truck and we would blast music and whenever this song in particular would come on he would turn it all the way up and i would scream along with the lyrics. i was probably 6 or 7 but it was so fun.
So glad this is what I grew up on. Started listening to these guys in the car, my dad would throw in the CD and my 6 year old self would try my best to sing along or just jump around to the songs not knowing what it means. Now at 17 I can see everything and I still love it to this day
My dad showed me ICP when I was 12. He would blare Assassins and Mad Professor on this mixtape he had. Been down with the clown since. I’m 27 almost 28. Going to the gathering this year. Whoop whoop
Love my homies man since back in the 90s, RIP to our lost homies, never thought you'd be gone when we were getting wild in 01, and the rest of us are still here, love yall!
@@spidermike3866 True but you got to understand. Twiztid is literaly the product of Violent j and shaggy 2 dope. With them now trying to bring about dark lotus agian as well as there now rehashing rydas. but under MNE so in truth twiztid bringing it upon themselves cause they areant truly being origional. They are trying to be the old school icp
This brings me back to the day I was listening to this when I was a teen and now I'm in my 30's and I was working at McD's at the time when this came out and I'm still a juggaloe..good times.
