What an awesome way to hunt! I love watching a dog work, doesn't matter if it's a bird dog or a greyhound running a coyote. I did get a good laugh from the first hunt on this video with the wussy 'woof woof' trying to stop the coyote for a shot, make some freakin noise lol. You can yell popsicle stick if you want, doesn't matter what you say...but it does have to be loud.
They got drone cams that will follow you around, you can get a drone operator outta sight and yet get close ups of everything. Even fly out and follow your coyote in from behind. Seeing if there are others nearby. Y'all got to learn this technology.
We have a drone, and have actually thought about trying this on some sets. We just need to get out there and try it. Do you know of any videos out there of people having success capturing a coyote kill from video?
Good job man. I rigged a camera mount to my shooting sticks because I didn’t want to buy a tripod…it was cheap and video quality went way up once I got it dialed in.
Are coyotes that much of a problem, we don’t have them here in Australia but it looks like good fun hunting them with the dogs. By the way there’s some good shots there too.
Some nice shooting and dog work , great elevation on your shooting position, dog work made illegal here in the UK thanks to the tree huggers , nice work on the coyotes main predator here in the UK is fox , greetings from across the pond here in the UK 🇬🇧
What kind of gun are you using? it seems awfully quiet. Also I notice you have training (electric shock) collars on the dogs. Is that to protect them from undesirables? porcupines, skunks etc:
This is directed to those who are posting that you don't like what these guys are doing....... If you don't like it, then don't click on the video in the first place!! It's quite simple to figure out what is going to happen, just by the "thumbnail"!!!
I wonder if would be a good idea to put hunter orange or some other color on your dogs, just to keep from shooting your dogs, kinda gets hard to see them sometimes Otherwise good idea and video My dogs are way too little, they'd be coyote bait
Why don't you shoot your dogs as well? Where is the challenge or sport in this where you use your dogs to decoy or attract the Coyotes? I don't disagree with hunting Coyotes to control numbers, but do it where it is fair for both sides.
If my calling was good enough to entice a coyote to perform a cleveland steamer on me, I would consider that calling session a success and share it for the world to see.
