Mate you should travel to Tabriz Iran. It is connected via train and it is a very fun and unique city in Iran. Same with the North of the country, Gilan province, as it is also very unique as it is literally a mountainous jungle. Interesting places to visit around Tabriz and Gilan (both in the North) are Kandovan, Alamut Castle (the infamous Castle of the Hashashin assassins who were only defeated by the mongols), Gasr Babak, Tabriz's Blue Mosque, the Caspian Sea, the Gilani Jungle, several Sassanian era castles and lots of other places.

@Rashaenka This is Iran dude, not Saudi Arabia... people wear clothes just like any other places in the world. except woman dresses are slightly different. Iran has many traditional clothes and dresses (you can see some of that in this video) but it depends on location. I think 90% of Iranians wear the same clothes as any other places in the world.

Yea all you hear on the gobble box is Iran's political issues not putting issues aside and see Iran what what it is politics aside. Though to be fair, back when Top Gear did the middle east special they did want to go through Iran but couldn't due to them being the BBC, so it's not so simple when employees of broadcasting networks are refused access. Just such a shame as maybe it'd change a lot of people's opinions on this amazing country if what they were shown was past those death to phrases the Iranian government use. Not that your own TV in Iran obviously has any relation to this lol.

Syria is the same, perfectly safe, so was Libya when i lived there before it got invaded by us, the propaganda sold to the British public was absolute BS. Us British are sold lies by our government through the media, tax payers money is used for dropping bombs on innocent women and children, so they have to convince us they are bad people. Certain news stories are selected everyday so the news is filtered to what we should know and what we should not know whats going on in the world. Always look for alternative media if you want true facts about our world. The USA and UK have the same goals, and will always invade other countries for their resources. This has been going on for 100's of years and will never change.

while I agree in general, I believe here in the US, most people and mature educated people, do NOT demonize the Iranian people and do NOT think they are all terrorist or 'bad'. Most will say so about the regime/government, I would too, but I hold absolutely no animosity towards Iranian people. If the world were different and governments could be reasonable and get along, i would love to go to Iran and experience Persia and Persian culture and people first hand...it is clear that there are many great and amazing Iranian people, like most places in the world. But since I can not really go and experience it first hand, as an American, with the world the way it currently is, I'm glad I can get a taste of it through these videos. Good luck to the Iranian people and I hope things can improve for them and the world in general.

Iranians are really nice. The west just refuses to forgive them for not wanting to be an imperial oil colony like Iraq. At least 95% of what the MSM says is pure hate-propaganda. Unless you want to get drunk or high, have a gay "pride" rally or have an abortion you're pretty free in Iran. Certainly to run a business and have a family. Which is really the important thing.

@Rashaenka You are over 2500 years late making this comment! Iran or Persia was world's first superpower. It's capital persepolis was the richest and envy of the world. Most things we take granted for today like the postal system, roads, sewage system, gardens, astronomy and many more inventions besides stem from Persian empire and preceding dynasties. All empires though eventually come to an end tend to go through period of decline. Iran/Persia has never been a colony of any other nation either. My advice to you: before embarrassing yourself by making silly, ignorant comments, at least do a quick basic research.

@farazazadi1549
@farazazadi1549 5 лет назад
@@EasyLife240p That's what you say, but any country in the world would like to have the amount of oil, gas, and other minerals that Iran has. They would love to have a history that is based on "Good words, Good thoughts and good Good deeds" (Zoroastrianism & Mithraism) rather than slavery and colonisation. They'd love to have a country that is independent and does not act as a slave of the United States. A country that has one of the first civilisations in the world and has contributed to the development and creation of many things you use today: algebra, batteries, postal service, the concept of human rights, chess, the guitar, etc. Furthermore, you assume that your life is better than most Iranians. However, this kind illogic reasoning indirectly tells a lot about your personality and way of thinking. Moreover, it indicates the amount of Western/American propaganda you've been exposed to. I've been living in European countries and in Tehran, Iran. Based on my experience I can tell you that I enjoyed life much more than in Europe (Amsterdam & Paris). Why? Because I love the hospitality, the warmth, the amazing food, the beautiful nature and the amount of things I could do in Tehran. Of course, there are some ignorant people who will mix up the Iranian government with the Iranian people, however, if you're one of them then you should immediately turn off the television due to being extremely brainwashed... Don't feel pity for Iran nor Iranians. Iran has been here for more than 10.000 years and it is regarded the first country in the world. Compare that to the United States, a country that is just 240 years old! Iran once had 42% of the world population within its borders and was one of the biggest and most respected empires. Iranians themselves, are among the highest educated immigrants in the world. In California there are millions of Iranians who life in places you can most likely never afford. As a matter of fact, 20%+ of the inhabitant of Beverly Hills (one of the most expansive area's in the US) are Iranian. And take a look at this: "Many Iranians in the Beverly Hills area built large houses that contrast with the original single story bungalows;[24] many Persians stated that the size of Friday Shabbat dinners contributes to their desire to build larger houses. Persian architect Hamid Omrani built around 200 of them.[22] Non-Iranians in the Los Angeles area criticized the houses, calling them "Persian palaces,". Believe me, you don't have to pity us. Even if Iran has a bad government, Iranians will remain successful due to their rich culture. Iran doesn't have the best government now, but believe me, if Iran gets a good government it's economy will grow exponentially and it might have to lend money to European countries and the US again, just like before 1979, when you guys loved to borrow billions of dollars from Iran.

Bro when you leave you should say "khodafez" or "salamat bashi" instead of salam hahah. Those people building the boat were saying "salamat" which is wishing someone good health. "Khodafez" is goodbye but it is easier to say "hodafez" if you have a hard time pronouncing it. Or again you could say "salamat bashi" for wishing good health! Also, you should go to Persepolis to see some remains of Persian history! And keep up the awesome videos man, very enjoyable :)

@Faye Flower Hahah that's an amazing story, thanks for sharing. Sounds like a unique experience with the portraits :) The people of Iran always appreciate hospitality and kindness, something that has remained with them since the Persian times. It's too bad that they are now suffering under the unfair sanctions of the Trump administration, despite the rest of the world opposing these sanctions. Hopefully the next US president will be a true leader. I miss Iran myself and look forward to visiting there in the future.
@nimkal
@nimkal 5 лет назад
@Faye Flower That was the plan but Trump went against all plans and placed unfair sanction on Iran, which made the people suffer for no reason. The US government is a criminal organization and everyone knows this now. They have done the same thing to Venezuela right now. They punish countries who don't use USD for their oil. Complete illegal sanctions.

So glad you are enjoying Iran! Just some things that I guess I use different wording for in terms of Persian food. So instead of curry, I would call it a stew, I think of curry as being used more for Indian cuisines. Also, the last thing you ate appeared to be coatlet, similar to a falafel, typically eaten with nan (bread), pickles, tomatoes, and sauce (ketchup). You should definitely try out ghormeh sabzi stew and faloodeh.
