I installed that "golden" gear on my 917, and it slowly dissolved, leaving golden filings all over the chassis. Not sure WTF it is actually made of, but whatever it is, soft doesn't begin to describe it. Watching your video, I saw the same golden filings on your chassis. Then it hit me: this isn't a flaw, but a feature that delivers gold flake to the world. It is a symbol of sharing. And we all know, "sharing is caring". So it is Rlaarlo's way of telling us they care. Gonna go take my meds now.

That's awesome dude! Great forward thinking 👍 Those are definitely optional, the input gear and ring gear on the diff are already metal. They fit well and perform well in the stock build. Having extras doesn't hurt, and helical gearing is a step up for sure. I would say just to drive it stock - on 2s 😉 - until you get used to it before going 3s too. 👍
@disciplinerc im still waiting on the motor mount and lots of gearing. Ill probably use a Castle combo. My sw3 hit 65 in a 1/16 but i think i want the Mamba X 🤌👌 gyro aswell as lower steering end points is truly the key to control at these speeds. Cant wait to see more!
@@disciplinerc is a beast of a car forsure. I just got mine to mod1 but I got the metal version. I switched to spektrum electronics 3900kv with 4s esc on 25/32 waiting to do a pass this week see how it goes
@@disciplinerc thank your sir! U will required trimming of the housing with mod1 but use the rcawd ones is 27mm width which is the same as the stock spur! Stay safe and let’s Bash!
Any 1/10 wheel fits. You will need to check the offset. Zero offset will just fit, but positive offset fit the best. Can't say how many MM's that offset is stock tho. Factory specs on the website should say. Check the link in the description below 👇😁
I am liking this car...i want to get the rtr metal version..can it fit a 6500 mah 90c 2s? What would be top speed roughy? I want set up cones and run it on the road...thanks for sharing.
That battery will fit no problem. I don't know what the gear configuration is with the metal version so I can't say top speed. The CF version hit 40mph on 2s in my other video of it. Go check that vid out 👍
No it doesn't, but you can order one order one separate from Rlaarlo. You can also get a Dumbo X6FG receiver. They will bind with the transmitter and have a good gyro built in 👍
Wow thats cool,so i just have to switch dumbo rx/gyro and thats it? Can you adjust gyro gains on this rx or its stock radio? I am pretty new to current rc tech...thanks again
@@roadstar499 yes you can via the 5th channel no at the bottom. I would also get a Y-3wire splitter and put the rear wing with the throttle. That way it becomes an active wing when you accelerate and brake. There's a lot to this hobby that takes time, google is my favorite thing 😅👍
