UPDATE: Some of the in-game Mods are still being patched so they may not show up or download! I'll have an update to the status soon! Also, PS5 has limited mod additions as per Sony. I'll look into this further.
Not usually a completionist, but I have 100% in Fallout 3, NV, and 4. I dig all the attention the franchise is getting. I just hope the success inspires MS to give us some new content.

My assumption is that things get a lil shitty after so many lines of code are written with conflicting mods a single error in the code can crash the game
I get that but with the size of most mods on console especially overhauls sitting around 500-800mb the 2GB available space really sucks. I understand the older consoles having 2gb but Series X still stuck at 2GB? C'mon now.
Played my first Fallout game yesterday with Fallout 4. About an hour or so in I’m walking through some town and got killed by some mutant with a mini nuke. 10/10
Masterpiece? I had hoped the next gen update would fix the glitch where visiting & leaving a settlement results in the location suddenly having no beds, water, or defense. Quite the pain in the ass to loop back to distant locations on survival mode. I guess they were too busy inserting the Enclave into the game to actually fix genuine problems.
I had the green in the commonwealth mod working on my Xbox one s a few months back but when I booted the game up again today it’s not there anymore and also can’t find it in the mod library.. wtf
You got to b careful which mods u use. On Series X I have only like 5-10 mods and when I go to see Preston Gary as soon as I walk into the door to the building it kicks me back to Xbox home screen.
Every mod I have ever tried has made the game impossible to finish. You get to the point where you have to capture the institute corsair and the game wont let you get near the building. It will slow to a crawl then freeze. I am hoping the update will address this.
I mean most mods are only on pc and xbox since Microsoft owns bethesda now, ps users dont really get anything any more after they bought them, plus its easier to port mods on xbox then Playstation for some reason. Probably cuz xbox is basically a mini pc

Install the updates for the DLCs if u have them then restart your system idk if it works on pc but I had the same glitch on Xbox and it worked also you might just have to wait a bit
Make a video with PC-only mods to have the good ones. Consoles can't have 3rd party tools, can't use Copyright things, and are censored (no nudity lol).
If Bethesda had any brains they would have been producing more DLCs for Fallout 4 .. excursions into new areas and better/expanded Creation Club Missions/Mini-DLCs would have been making millions all along .. all they (Bethesda) ever had to do was pay attention to the modding community and continued fan/player support .. a huge chunk of the past decade wasted/unused ..
Lexington Interiors is a fantastic mod, if your playing survival it has everything, each property has food supplies, building supplies, and the occasional legendary drop. And power armour. Picking the chests can be challenging and a tonne od ghouls to go through.
Istill think it's nice they put mods in the menu on consoles to get them. (i take it you need to log in to an account on the mod site) but still. All they need to do now is p ut console commands(cheat codes) On the console games, and give us a release on nintendo.
Fallout3 player Always saved b4 opening a safe or terminal or b4 entrering a big battle has to be one best games ive played or Bf3 & 5 but the hackers chit me in that with there aimbot hacks

I found it weird that modding hasn't been updated or improved for Fallout and Skyrim which I believe is a Bethesda fault. Because games like Roblox and even Fortnite make use of third-party mods on PS5.
Post update, Boston city is still laggy & annoying All my mods were uninstalled & 90% removed from my favourites list, spent 3 over 3 hours trying to find them all, most of them are missing so much settlement rebuilding needed 🤬😡🤬
@@boisteve I’m visiting the new merchant workshop just outside Cambridge on the other side of the river to Boston no issues yet but it’s an old save I’m using on next gen feels smoother but only been on 15 minutes still time yet 😂
So I download the new update which boasts ultrawide support and the Ultrawide is fucking broken guess I'll wait for someone to mod into a usable state...
Fallout 4 is a fun sandbox, but calling Fallout 4 a "near masterpiece" is an enormous overstatement. Kinda the bottom of the list when it comes Fallout titles story and setting wise. But as a sandbox game it sets itself quite strongly.

Skiiba's Armory and Machinegun Mods are my go-to. The guns feel OP at times, but can be reigned in if you switch ammo types. Looking for a way to beef up the vanilla weapons if anyone has anything.
The attachment pack by degenerate dak is a mod with hundreds of extra modifications for all vanilla weapons. There is also Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO) by DankRafft that allows you to modify weapons and armor by changing stats on the weapon ie, spread, reload speed and ammo type.
@@N1tecrawler11 No... Some mods you download from Nexus still work. Fx. Scrap Everything works just fine, vivid Fallout All in one is working too. There are a lot more Nexus mods that work, as long is not depends on Fallout Script extender
and in usual Bethesda inconstancy (or is it on purpose?) the "next gen update" no only did not provide next gen ANYTHING, it's actually broke pretty much most mods. and purposely (imo) delayed London's release ON PURPOSE.
On my Xbox Series X, I lost my whole previous play through. The game kept getting kicked to the Xbox's dashboard. A few days later and a new character, there was a big triangle dome with psychedelic colors above my settlements. This happened numerous times. I won't be using any mods. The Xbox Series X is having trouble with basic programming. I don't want to take the chance of destroying the only console that I have, especially when the human race is taking advantage of everyone else. These mods do look good. It is amazing what people can do when they have a lot of resources and time to waste. Major LOL!
I do not understand all this work done and no mention at all of a load order. Do load orders not matter anymore on XBOX series X? They used to. Also 2 of the Mods have certain dependencies on files not there I think it was a few Femshepping or something maybe it was the swimwear, But one relies on a "curvy" CBBE. And over 6 of these are not on the xbox network. If anyone has any success with this please post an updated mod list WITH load order? This one does not work.
I use A littler bit of green, for grass. Keeps some of the brown so it looks like the land is a bit sick still. Aspen trees (or any tree mod, another pine forest ect..) Remove helmet in dialog - can't stand the power armor helmet in conversion? This is for you. And finally because I truly hate when I've spent hrs decorating, only to have some asshole knock it all over.... OCD Decorator - Makes your decor static. Now you can place that coffee cup on your desk and Cogworth can't knock it over

Hey I got a request, can someone who knows how to make mods make a halo sky mod, kinda like the star wars one with the ships in the sky but halo featured with halo frigates, and marathon class ships fighting covenant ships, I know it's alot to ask for but it would be really appreciated I'm sure I'm not the only one who would want something like that in a mod, thx very much👍#xbox
I can understand wanting to have something different to put on your character. But a bathing suit makes no sense. You can't put body armor on top of it, and it's not going to protect your character, and battles can happen at any moment. Also, carrying more junk just so you can swap it during battles is a pain in the neck. I guess walking around safe areas it would be cool. But, it's silly. But, sillycan you fun.
Bethesdas arrogance and uncaring attitude towards their customer base is a real problem for many of us. Why should they not cooperate with the mod author that created an interface mod that many other mods need to continue operating. It would create good will among customers and a deeper level of customer appreciation and satisfaction. What's the downside? Personally I don't see a downside. I do see a downside to ignoring that arrogance. A lot of us are concerned about the situation regarding Bethesda ignoring the release of the most significant and largest DLC like mod release ever. Fallout London, brings to the Fallout game universe an entirely new and polished game location and environment. Bethesda ignoring that and deliberately releasing their mod breaking update days before Fallout London was due to drop seems to us to be a deliberately callous indifference to all of those interested in playing it, and that same arrogant indifference to the hundreds of mod authors who spent thousands of hours over four years working on the most monumental project ever under taken for Fallout. This creation sparked by the love of the game was destroyed by Tod Howard without a single care for that creativity and loyalty. I've heard it said never put down malevolence and cruelty when the simplest explanation is incompetence. Personally I don't buy that. I think Bethesda saw mods, and Fallout London as being outside their control and decided to break it all. Otherwise if they returned customer loyalty why not cooperate and find ways to appreciate and enhance those experiences. That would extend the life of their game longer, and draw new players. With the anticipated success of the Fallout TV series they went for arrogance and control. Occams Razor suggests that the simplest explanation that fits the facts is true. That it fits the facts can not be denied. One has to merely look at Bethesda's track record in this regard. They used the same control measure with their Skyrim update. But this time with the Fallout Four update it's worse. They also found a way to attract and buy off some of those mod authors by financial incentives to allow Bethesda to market some mods. This is the arrogance of an effective monopoly. It's all about dominance and control.
Im a total noob to modding but...is there no way somebody can take the grognak body suit & mod it for skin texture add some nipples from male & hair from whereever to make a ps5 nude mod??...can that not be done???...asking for a friend
I feel for my fellow PS brothers, Sony's restrictions are crazy. I got so tired of the crap vanilla guns that I specifically got myself an Xbox version of Fallout 4 to mod the sht outta. (I already had a series x, so no I didn't buy the console extra for this game in case you were wondering)
Fallout 4 was a lot of things, but for sure not a quote "masterpiece" Yes, you can mod it into a masterpiece, but bethesda vanila game was and still is a mess. So let's give credit to those who deserve it, the fallout moding community.
Best mod is advanced needs 76 makes you need to eat drink bath brush your teeth gives you the ability to fish and catch fish to cook and eat make MREs milk cows and it’s own camping system and the need to sleep and disease and injury system
The thing with modern firearms I feel that they're all lure friendly for two reasons the first gun designs historically are unique in every country secondly you can only make a gun in so many ways and third for a bonus the game is set in 2077 so technically anything made in our air is not a modern firearm to them
Okay so when I first down loaded the mod it was a nightmare. Half of my mods were not working and my DLC disappeared. After everything finished I was able to redownload and install the DLC and the mods were enabled. I restarted the game and everything was working. I haven't had any crashes yet but the game does stutter when when when NPCs spawn in. I played for about 6 hours with not crashing.
