Welcome back to travel vlogs everybody - hope you enjoy this episode of our time here in Kyoto - always love heading back to Japan when we can :) - whats the most unique dining experience you have ever done?
I love Japan! My partner and I are heading back there again in 9 weeks for the snow season. It is definitely my favourite country. I'm so excited to eat good quality ramen again and just experience the culture :) Thank you for another great video x
Now I Know when I subbed years ago just after your Indian Pacific video you didn’t eat red meat but I was wondering as I only see your videos sporadically I’m assuming you still don’t after this one🤔?
Japan is right at the top of my bucket list. Maybe one day... I really like the style of this video! The musical interludes were perfect, and the bowing deer, so charming. Safe and fun travels, guys!
It's fun to explore new towns, but also great going back to places you have been too and have a good idea about the things you like to do and the places you missed the first time.
I was in Tokyo for two weeks. It was my first time in Japan. Just arrived back home to Australia on the 15 November. Already want to go back. The food was so amazing.
Love you folks and congrats on the baby but please, please never walk on a tatami floor with your shoes on. A simple way to know if you should take your shoes off any where in Japan is if the floor you are stepping onto is higher than the floor you are on, take your shoes off. This includes restaurants, temples, hotels and people's homes. Stay happy and healthy.
This stopover looked incredible; I can see why you love Japan so much! I am such a fan of your vlogs. I actually found you guys back on 12 September and now I've watched virtually every video of yours! You have inspired me to start traveling again. I used to do so quite a bit and had been to nearly 30 countries by the time I was 25, but in the last 4 years, I haven't traveled out of the country except to visit family for Christmas back in the US. I stopped doing what I loved and became complacent in my life. Thanks to your vlogs, that stops now. My first little weekend exploring was a couple weeks ago in Tasmania actually - so I'm very keen to see that video! It may not be outside the country yet, but it's a place I had never been. Anyway, thank you for what you do. I have to say, though, I miss the music at the end of the videos in these last few posts. That charming song perfectly encapsulated why you do what you do and provided such a nice close! Can't wait for future videos and congrats on your newest family member!
You guys are the best. We are going to Japan in April and including Kyoto. So happy for you and your expected one. Safe voyage there and many happy years with the child. Many thank yous for you vlogs. They are great.
Oh my gosh those little bowing deer were my favorite part of the vlog, that was so cool to see! I love your style of vlogging. I've been to Japan once before and need to go back!
"We've decided that our first meal in Japan has to be ramen. It's one of our favourite meals..." Screen: udon Me: Those are very thick ramen You guys are so cute.
The “no having sushi” thing while pregnant isn’t accurate. You actually can have sushi with fish but you still have to be just as careful as you normally do with how it was cooked. It’s a myth that you can’t have any sushi.
OH MY GOSH! Those deer!!!! Not what you think of when you hear Japan, but I think Japan has just made it onto my top 5 list of places I want to visit! I loved this vlog!
Hello by the way I love ur videos, me and my friend want to go to Kyoto when the leaves are very red i just wanted to ask at what day did u guys go specifically
Man, I know what you mean about the small rooms in Japan! We stayed in the tiniest apartments in Japan last week! That fire ramen looks so intense though! Very cool way to be served dinner. I will never get over food in Japan! It is next level!
My daughter and her boyfriend spent last month in Japan and also loved Kyoto. Ironically they stayed at the same hotel. They are just beginning their 7 month Asian tour and vlogging as well. Nicandtayy
How is Jess wearing jeans while pregnant?? 😂 omg!!! That was literally impossible for me! Especially at the beginning... I have a feeling it’s a BOY. Because normally girls bring that extra sensitivity and nausea to pregnancy. I know this because my mom had 6 girls and then 1 boy which was a complete opposite when pregnant!!
Those deer can be vicious too! Our friend got stabbed in the butt by one cheeky deer !!😊♥️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m8zVi1LDD-8.html
Have seen that fire ramen all over social media and have yet to try it for ourselves - it's so cool to see! Could you feel the heat from the flame, Jess?
So glad to see you guys back in Japan! I’ve recently started working as a travel agent so the fact that you guys have overviews and recommendations on your hotels really is helpful for me! Also let’s me consider watching these as education 😂😉
The coffee scene in Japan has improved out of sight it the last five years. I reckon it is better than Melbourne now. I think the best coffees I've had in the last couple of years were in Japan. And the care taken and attention to detail is amazing. Standouts were Blue Monday in Kanazawa and Turret Coffee Tsukiji in Tokyo, but almost every city we went to on our last trip had at least one awesome coffee shop.
@@flyingthenest Absolutely breath taking! Rode bikes around to see all the sites, such a bike friendly city, we had a blast. Where are you guys heading next? Congrats again on the baby!
Hey guys, heading over to Japan again in a month from Australia and my mother in law wants to try this coffee, am I having a man look and cant see it tagged where it is anywhere? Where in Kyoto is this place please?
