Great video Nick 🤙 on the haters that say “you’ll stress out the fish”.... how are you not gonna stress out the fish catching any type of way. The only way you won’t stress a fish out is by sitting on that couch making ridiculous comments like that lol
*Used this rod recently on a river hike in NH. It performed beautifully **enjoyable.fishing** recommend as I had hoped it would, on a whole heap of river smallies using tiny torpedoes and tubes.*
I agree. Catching fish on ultralight is a blast. To catch a 3-5lbs fish on a setup that would normally be considered maxed out at 2lbs is so much fun.👍👍👍
I’m curious why the Calcutta wasn’t included. If you’re still looking at these comments it would be nice to know! And if it wasn’t included because it wasn’t ready to go, then how would it compare?
I haven't noticed my scorpion bfs being "grindy" at all, but I haven't put it through nearly as much work as you have. I did just order a suppressor rod to pair with it. Hopefully I can get into some inshore kayak fishing soon. I'm in really central Texas.
Great video! Love ultralight fishing... ther only downside I have is when the fish is next to the boat , would like a little more backbone then! Good job
@@RXAngler always man, I love em all. I usually wake up mad early for trips than I should have so got like an hour to kill and always get to catch up on what y'all got going down south. Not often I say this but check out a few of my trout videos man. We got some beast up here in Virginia, think you personally would like em. I'm so jealous of y'all's inshore red fishing tho! And y'alls waterways are so interesting to me
Awesome! Did you end up changing out the bearings in the Steez air to CRBBs to be able to fish your brackish waters? And for the Steez air and alphas air, how much line do you spool on?
I’m looking for a bfs that can throw various sizes of lures for saltwater blackish water . Distance is very important to me . What would you recommend?
I love my aldebaron bfs but I've decided to get a Calcutta conquest bfs!. Did you use mono backing for your bfs shimanos or did you tie the braid straight on like I did?
What a great video, i have a question I recently received a 2nd generation bug natural tan color for my birthday and I wonder if it gonna combine with Galveston’s bay water ?
I prefer baitcasters but wanted an ultralight setup........ guess I'm going with a spinning reel with those kind of prices, and the kastking bfs has too many issues
So happy you replied haha $300 I seen one that Mark used but he said it wasn’t meant for saltwater. Crazy how you dropped this video as I’m looking lol. But I watch every episode 👌🏽
