Insane Karen Kicks a Man for Having a Service Dog 

The fact that this woman was SO CONFIDENT she was in the right that she herself was the one who told the cop how she kicked the guy....baffling.

While walking my son’s dog at a park in Florida I met a lady with two tiny Japanese chin dogs. Both were service dogs trained to detect blood sugar issues for their diabetic owner. They saved her life many times. Dogs are the most amazing creatures.

The thought of kicking strangers in the grocery stores never occurred to me when I was 14 nor will ever happen when I’m 80 lol

Can I say how proud I am of this officer for knowing the ADA laws, and that service dogs don't have to wear a vest? However, there is no registration for a service dog. Fake ones are sold online so people can have their misbehaving dogs in apartments or bring them into stores. Many service dogs have been attacked by these untrained fakes and that's a real problem. Real service dogs have to go through extensive training and don't misbehave.

I actually know this lady, she was kicked out of and banned from coming back to a store I worked at because she used to come in and demand service in front of other customers, she also used to just be really nasty towards kids and anyone not as white as she is. She’s actually been trespassed from a number of stores in the city I used to live in. She’s just a terribly bitter person in general.

She is the epitome of someone who was never told no, nor experienced any kind of consequences in life. She's the Queen of Entitlement. As a matter of fact, she probably invented it.

A friend of mine is a Type 1 diabetic. His service dog is vital to allow him to work and remain active. God bless these service dogs.

There is nothing worse than being harassed by a total stranger for using a disability parking spot and they yell and start a scene because they don't believe you have a disability. Happened to me once and I'm not going to explain to a stranger why I'm using it or my medical history. Basically it's non of their buisness

Just a few days ago, I saw a dude with a Pomeranian in the grocery store. Do I think it was a service animal? Nope, but I didn't confront him because it's NOT MY PLACE. The sense of entitlement that this woman has is simply incredible, truly a Karen among Karens.

My mum has a service dog in the UK for unstable typle 1 diabetes. The dog is a true life saver as so many are. I'll happily help educate this hateful woman, at her cost and a considerable charity donation, also her cost. My treat. Such ignorance and hate at such an age is the crowning work of evil.

My service dog was a Basset Hound and I took him to the grocery store all the time when he was still alive before the cancer took him from me and he maybe wore his vest about half the time. I don’t think anyone ever questioned him but I’m a disabled veteran with obvious physical disabilities. I will say that even the store employee’s seemed to enjoy seeing him, first stop on the trip was always the butcher shop where they had a treat for him

My Mother is 80 and has never had any sort of negative confrontation with anyone. I'm so blessed to have a normal, natural, decent, educated and independent Mother. No drugs, tobacco or alcohol. ❤

I have combat related PTSD and I have a service dog that works with me to distract and calm me down. My dog is my lifeline, she's my best friend and she really helps keep me grounded. If I ever have to go anywhere without her I'm a nervous wreck and I literally fall to pieces, it becomes hard to really focus on anything save a sense of being overwhelmed by literally everything that exists. It's really hard to explain, but she gets it. She pulls me back constantly to the now with nose pokes, setting her head on my knee, asking for pets and leans against my leg. She gets me even when people I'm closed to don't get it. I have often been asked by people why I need her, as I don't outwardly seem like I would need her. I'm not blind, I don't have any issue that presents itself physically unless I have an "episode". I've had people question her legitimacy before, ask to pet her, try and distract her while we're in a store, and the like. Some people talk about how scared they are of dogs (which I understand, not everyone likes them) rather loudly to draw attention to us. I think they don't realize that I'm actually just as distrustful and scared of them as they are of my service animal. Oddly though, I have never once had someone come up to me and demand that I prove that she is in fact a service dog by producing evidence. Most stores that we visit just give us space and go about their way. I've always found that it's shoppers who care the most, not the store itself.

My aunt has a service dog and I met someone (who worked in a store) who *did* have a nice personality. She first came up to us telling that dogs weren’t allowed, and we told that it’s a service dog (the service dog, Cody, wasn’t wearing his jacket because it was warm outside). She asked if we could show any kind of proof so I showed a picture of Cody with his jacket on, and she kindly wished us a great day. Don’t give up on humanity, the good ones still exist. 👑❤️

She didn't just assault the man; what she did is called 'assault and battery', because she 'touched' (kicked) him unlawfully.

Asking a cop what happens if you don't show up for court is a good way to not qualify for bail. You can sit in jail after arraignment and wait for your trial if you start making dumb threats like that.

Whenever I see a dog in a store, I always assume it's a service dog. If it's not, it's not my problem unless the dog messes with me, which has never happened. This lady must be all kinds of bored lol

I had a medical alert dog until he passed last year. I approve of this woman arrest. ADA laws do not require us to put anything on our dogs. The only questions a person is allowed to ask, if they work at the establishment, are: "Is that a service dog?" and " What it is they do?" Ex. My dog was able to alert me to a migraine coming a couple of hours before the pain would hit.

Wow, I'm glad the store employee confirmed she was disorderly. So nice of her to admit, over and over, her assault. I do hope she learns from the sentence, but she won't. The judge may help educate her, and she will have a prior if she does it again.

Thank you for pointing out the police search thing. It's so dumb that people think not letting a cop search your car/house is indicative of guilt, it's a waste of time if you don't have illegal stuff and still a waste of time if you do. If they don't have a warrant then they can let someone go or get one.

If the guy has the dog for PTSD, he is not physically disabled. He is psychologically disabled. And just because he would have handled a man differently doesn't mean that he is a bad guy. He is a hero and our whole way of life is protected by guys like him.

The part that really gets me is that despite actually being arrested, shes still trying to argue with the officer, asking for her handcuffs to be loosened, turn on the AC, etc. The amount of privilege she has during this whole situation is absolutely insane, especially knowing that similar situations in which the person being detained was completely innocent, they would've been thrown around, screamed at, and shoved into the car even if they weren't doing anything hostile.

Oh good grief! I’m so sick of Karens. I recently travelled to Scotland, and an American woman on the same tour vocalized her surprise at how many people spoke English. When she saw my incredulous face, she felt she had to qualify the remark by saying “they are probably trying to get a green card”. Certainly a Karen in the making.

This kind of thing happens to disabled people every day. We get treated like we're less than by at least one person almost everywhere we go. Alot of disabled/handicapped people are wearing cameras when they go out into public because of how they are treated by some people. Once at the grocery store a man in his 60's proceeded to get in front of me in every isle just to block me from being able to look at and get items, all the while he kept looking back at me and smiling and laughing. Now I shop with my service dog, a 175lb Cane Corso mix and it stopped happening

Those woman is entitled, out of touch, and I can only imagine how she treats anyone who doesn't look like her if this is how she treated that man and his dog. She didn't seem to realize that she assaulted/battered another person after intruding on their rights.

As a counselor, I'd advise the police and everyone to not engage with these lunatics. Only tell them what you must, like, if you're a cop and need to tell them what to do. Getting into conversations with them is futile. You cannot argue with crazy, drunk or drugged up people. I am always amazed that people even try. In that way, you take charge. You should keep a distance from them, verbally, perhaps, even physically if the situation requires it. This situation is a perfect example of why not to engage them. He had to repeat himself over and over, and she STILL ranted on, asking the same things over and over. Once you've told someone something, and they do what she did, simply say to them, "I already answered that," or "I already told you" and stop responding to their demands for attention and control, for that is what all this is really about. That forces them to be quiet and rethink the last parts of the conversation and to find their own answers, to think for themselves. This could help them in the long run, and it will give you some peace while they do it or, perhaps, time to get away from them. Also, everyone should learn some sort of self defense,

Fun fact for everybody: If someone with a dog enters your establishment, you're allowed to ask 1: Is this a service animals? And 2: What service does this animal provide? You in fact, are not allowed to ask people to provide documentation, and kick them when they refuse to do so, crazy as that sounds.

This is why I’m terrified to start bringing my service dog with me. She’s completely trained. I am autistic and have cptsd. But when I did bring her, I got police called on me for not having “papers”. It was so stressful and degrading. People would glare at me. And she would sit by my side quietly, or lay under me. 😔

I would just die if my family ever saw me acting like this. It's unforgivable! I never would anyway. I am always nice to everyone.

The lack of knowledge that people have about service animals is really troubling
