She also turned into a pseudo-karen by victimizing herself, saying "this is how black people get killed" and then talking at the karen for the next ten minutes. However, what really should have happened is the karen should have been booted out the moment she slapped at "MAMA".

The video starts after the conflict had already started - leaving out how it all began. We may not have the whole story and the lady taking the video may be Karen #2.
Another reason it was good that she recorded it: literally no one in that store was on her side. The two women who “stepped in” took the Karen’s side. So yea once the police got there and if she didn’t have this footage the people in the store would have shifted the blame on the person who was recoding. And the cops would have believed them.
Yup. I grew up with an entitled younger sib who ALWAYS got away with bothering me because my mom always took HIS side. Could you imagine walking into a Victoria Secret, and hearing a fully grown woman sitting on the floor screeching and crying like bubble blowing baby, I couldn’t imagine being her spouse, extremely embarrassing. That was one of the most ridiculous outbursts I have seen! She went absolutely bonkers once she realized her assaulting the woman was recorded. She then tried to make it look like the lady filming was the culprit, all while chasing her around the store. This Karen acted like she was locked in the store. Girl could have left anytime she wanted to.
I don't know if this was assault per say, think she tried to hit the phone to stop being recorded. Destruction if property attempt not assault. Black lady escalated this situation she could've walked out if the store but just kept filming without any real purpose. She had enough recorded within the first minute to be believed if Karen called police and stated otherwise

It’s still private property you’re not supposed to record without permission from the owner. A mall is also private property. I know it’s beside the point, but they could have told her to stop recording if they wanted. I wish we had seen what happened earlier before the recording.

They pay rent. They may not mind recording inside, but that’s up to management, and inside a store they can definitely enforce whatever policy they want, like checking bags, or not allowing food/drinks, or animals, so yeah, an employee or manager can definitely tell you to stop recording if you’re in their store if they want to. Just because it’s a business open to the public it doesn’t make it public property.

How no one in the store addressed this screeching banshee is beyond me. I saw one employee block her in the chase portion of the meltdown, but even that was half-hearted. I'm so glad this lady kept recording this extra crazy Karen!!! And the two different women that told her to step away and stop recording must also be Karens. I find it very sad that no one stood up for the lady recording to protect herself. If I had been there I for sure would have stood by the lady recording and been her witness.
No, she had a breakdown because she saw someone videotaping her and wanted to take the camera down. She broke down because the woman kept videotaping her and making things worse. I'm amazed at how many people do not recognize serious mental illness and anxiety. I'm not saying that what she did was right, but I wish people had more compassion for the mentally ill.

Let's get real, this was a black woman in a store full of white women who were clearly trying to see things from the screaming women's point of view. Even though the woman recording was calm and the Karen was having a full psychotic episode, it seemed like the general consensus was "well, you're upsetting her because you have your phone out, maybe you should just stop that and leave?" The woman filming makes it very clear that she is filming because she doesn't feel safe. These white women clearly don't understand the racial tension of the situation; this women is afraid that she could be charged for something she didn't do because she is in a situation where it is her word against a white woman's. I hope she's able to file a proper report and get a fair say in all of this.

Folks - I want you to really, really, really think about this - imagine how many times this kind of craziness happened BEFORE smartphones were possible. Imagine how often one side was simply believed and completely supported against the other without any evidence whatsoever. I've been an Over The Road (OTR) trucker for the past 35 years or so. On the road, in truck stops and at customer locations, similar bizarre, insane, infantile outburst situations like this occur MUCH more often now than when I started driving 35+ years back. It is not an everyday happening of course, but noticeably today, there are more people on the edge of sanity / insanity, than back in the late 1980's, and 1990's. I've read that around 1/4th of young females today are on prescription psychotropic drugs, so that may explain such bizarre behavior in today's world. I've not read of the percentage of young males also on psychotropic drugs today, but would guess it to be much higher than back in the 80's / 90's, even if less than the females.

People who don’t understand what this is can feel really terrified. The psychic attack can cause a psychotic reaction. Sometimes the person will act out the rigid role. When predators bait people sometimes the person takes the bait unconsciously and it is a form of entrapment. But then you can see who the enemies are and how people react and it shows you more about the sick psychosocial dynamics. Words for the experience are healing. It can become terrifying to have these gangster attacks happen every time you go anywhere. It is a form of gaslighting and is really crazy making. It is called narcissistic abuse and can fool ninety percent of people. It is anti social group dynamics. It is important not to react and not to take the bait. If this happens to a person many times they can lose their mind. It is a cause of schitzofrenia. Many people are being bulldogged out of their jobs with games like this. It is extremely upsetting. The cognitive dissonance is damaging and it is a very effective way to bully people away all the time. The sadist then feels very powerful. The sadist is not in reality. It is a predator and a childish territory game. They feel powerful to get people to run away. They have no conscience. As we can see no one has any compassion or concern. It is callous disregard for the rights and feelings of some others.

Had I been a customer in the store I would have called the police myself and relayed everything going on , that woman could have given herself a heart attack and had no right acting the way she did. I am appalled at everyone's behaviour. She screeched so high and loud I think dogs could hear her miles away. I am gobsmacked that it went on so long that the store associates did not call security immediately. Security can't show up to a situation if they are not informed. This was handled very badly from all directions. If I were the videographer I think I would have let CK (crazy karen) catch me and beat me so I could sue her in court. Mind you in the moment she probably felt she was running for her life. This woman (the karen) needs to see a psychiatrist or psychologist and the video needs to be reviewed by professionals. She cannot have outbursts like this in public. I have anxiety and depression (GAD) and I take my meds faithfully every morning. Holy Jesus in Heaven this really set me back on my heels!!!! I am old (62) but I I did a stint in the Canadian Army, if she came at me like that I might have fucking punched her lights out. She wouldn't have had to fake lying on the floor. Get that woman some help and someone recommend a good lawyer for the lady videoing.
So many Karen's didn't get the mental help they needed growing up. Most of Karen's parents typically think their kids are perfectly fine and blame the world instead.
And some are just coddled for this behavior and the parents just make things worse by not teaching her any better.
