Thanks for sharing! My first experience hunting them clown quail as young man in 1984. It was a sunny day and about 4" of snow on the ground. I was fortunate to work with AZ Game and Fish Dept. and participate in a lot of Mearns quail hunting and biology opportunities over the next twenty plus years. them. Can't wait for my next hunt! Cheers!!!

Cool video! I'm a UT Chukar guy and I'll be hitting southern AZ for my first Mearn's hunt the day after Christmas (all week there) with my 4 Pointers. Looking forward to figuring out a new species. Mearns are the last quail species I have to complete all 6. Really excited for it and I appreciate the video!

Good stuff Tyler! As I watch these to learn about AZ quail, one thing I realize is how good they are at using trees to block your shots. I hope you are doing well in this brutal winter.
