Great finds guy. Thanks for sharing. Just a bit of advice that may keep you from getting kicked out of a yard, park, school , etc. take a towel with you. When you remove dirt from a hole. Put the dirt on the towel. When you locate your find...simply lift the towel by the edges/corners and dump the dirt back into the hole. The hole will look some much better after doing this. It will also save you time as you don’t have to scrape the dirt back into the hole and clean up around the hole. Gives you more time to detect. Hope this helps. Good luck and HH.
Thanks man. Yeah I've thought a lot about using a towel, I just don't want to have to hold it in my hand the whole time I'm detecting. It would definitely help a lot especially at nicer spots though. Thanks for stopping by and HH! Zach

Thanks! Right on man, to each his own. I don't mind rubbing because I don't do this for the money. Although if I do find a big silver or one that seems more valuable I sometimes use a spray bottle. Part 2 of the trip coming soon!!

That was an exciting hunt, Guyz - the train sounded so atmospheric (the wind-noise not so!) But I'd say your filmmaking talents have developed nicely - and you can still pick the spots for the hot finds! Awesome! 😉🐾👍🚂😀

Great video with tons of nice old coins, a big congrats!! You might want to consider getting a small spray bottle with water to blast the dirt off your old silver finds as opposed to rubbing them as if you find one with value, those micro scratches will detract from their full potential.
Thanks man! Yeah I do have a spray bottle that I occasionally use on big silver or if I find one in good condition. I don't do this for the money which is why it doesn't really bother me for most of the silver. HH man and thank you for stopping by
Wildcat Creek Survival Don't rub anything you find with your gloves, fingers rags or anything. Do your research on this. You can destroy the value of the item you find. Glass, coins, metals, rocks or gemstones. It doesn't matter. Use the spray bottle without fail. Wrap it up and put in your gathering container! You will not be sorry in the long run. Trust me I know! Learn by mistakes is not an option.
lol there's so many places around here to detect. i got 2 permissions just because people that drove by when they where making this video new i did some detecting and asked me about them lol.
As a coin collector for over 50 years, I cringe every time I see these guys rub these coins with their dirty gloves. These guys are not coin collectors.
So each dime has a different name based on its design. The "barber" design was minted between 1892-1916. The "seated" design was minted from 1837-1891 and are pretty hard to find.

Just became its a swastika don't mean its a Nazi.... The swastika was a sign of good luck and before that is was the a sun wheel..... And even before that it was called a rune..... Some of you need to know your history and get educated..... The swastika dates back to the vikings as well as Egyptian times..... Just a little history lesson for you...... Keep you coils to the ground and dig all your targets......
We know about the various meanings of the swastika. The reason we presumed it could be Nazi era was because it was in a spill with a war Nickel and 40s Merc.
ITS NICE, BUT UNLESS YOU GUYS AVE $20 HR OR MORE? YOUR LOOSING $..THINK ABOUT IT...Unless your rich kids? You need at least $500,000 invested in Mutual Funds and can only take oout 4% /yr ( $20k/yr) Plus making Full SS.. So how close R U to that $500k in savings?
