The best match of valorant to date. This series was amazing, it showed the dominance and comfort of these teams on their own picks, on-the-fly adaptations from both IGLs and hero plays from both teams. It took a herculean effort from kangkang, shattering every bo5 grand final stat line in the process, to take down heretics. Fair play to heretics too, but this was kangkang's tournament.
kangkang is so fun to watch. 'cheer for me, cheer for me" is legendary. Simon so good with those flashes and stuns. constantly sending perfect util. i think the first win on this lan was the biggest for their nerves, simon looked scared that first match.
Yeah, on the first map. S1Mon was so passive. He seemed nervous and panicking. But after that map, he proved everyone wrong. His utils and support were perfect. His clutched on Lotus with KJ's ult is legendary.

Heretics luckily survived Bind. But EDG looked like they had done prep for almost every map. In a BO5, luck goes out the window and thats how EDG showed their dominance. Pure skill and prep, barely relying on luck.
I agreed, you can see how much fighting spirit and prep they had compared to TH especially on Abyss. there was no luck, EDG showed us their hardwork from this year and this is the result. Throwback to their first Champion game, they said Kk can only use op but now look how insane he is with vandal,. It reminds me of how hard those chinese Olympic athletes on themselves to bring home gold. Well deserved. China will probably dominate next year
Edg isnt afraid to have their entire team revolve around their duelist. They use their util and map presence to set kk up for success. They are what lev shouldve been

After trace won Lev, I told my friend that China is taking it all this tournament. Kangkang is such a demon and it was so hard for me to pick a team to win because I really like Benjyfishy and I appreciate Kangkangs performance this entire tournament. China gets their first Finals trophy before APAC. I dont think there would be any team this tournament that would give EDG a run besides TH. Well played from both teams but EDG was amazing !

This match elevated competitive valorant to a whole new level. It didnt boil down to duels. It was determined by utility use, which was the way Valorant was made to be played. After all it was patterned after LoL and less of CS

The editing on this is really good, the way different streamers commentary blends right into one another and overlaps is really seamless. It's SO much more enjoyable to watch than other channels that just loop the same exact clips over and over. Really appreciate the effort
I know s1mon was botfragging every game and twitch chat was trolling him hard but the guy was a support player he plays initiator he set up kills for his team like that chichoo lotus clip on A tree, the dude is a perfect support player and im kinda glad that some people notice the stun
maybe if benjy didnt spend so much time waving to fans after dropping MAPS in the GRAND FINALS OF CHAMPS then maybe they wouldve won. idk i would be so tilted as a teammate walking back to talk strats and seeing that beforehand.
