Gamers making multi-millionaire big brain moves like this and I'm here just chuckling about forcing my companion to equip a Cutter so we can be Ghostbusters
As a note, if you drop everything in your ship, then mod your ship (even just changing the paint counts), it will shove everything into the cargo hold regardless of how much cargo space you have. So much easier to deal with than being over encumbered all the time; so I definitely recommend getting the Landing Pad with Shipbuilder ASAP.
In the patch currently in beta, I have found this to no longer be the case; if I drop my massive loads of crafted material in my ship and then move stuff in the shipbuilder, the crafted materials just... disappear. So I wouldn't bet on this in the future.
The best places to sell I've found are the Civ Outposts on planets like Venus. By a wait of just 1 hour (about 6 sec real time) they are ready, respawned with credits and inventory. I've gotten into the habit of cheaking all the moons and planets i land on as per the factor of how long 1 hr of rest time is in UT. Any with a good long duration i see if its a candidate for civ outpost creation. I'll load a hard save made before I landed after a pop back in orbit so and then get to work. This trick is really good to do ln the outpist pkzbets as well especually if you can place an outpost right on the doorstep. It's really a need if your a loot hoarder and if like me have a Galactic Factory as i start every playthrough with an outpost before even going to New Atlantis. With making the 8 basic itens fabricators are good at doing, and passively is key. Great info vid mind you early ln not so sure many can survive the attacks that every moon and planet in the Serpentus system sufferes from. Thys more a mid and later game location.
Love your videos! You should make a video for how to make O2 shots. They sell for more than antibiotic paste and give 3 xp per craft. Recipe is 1 Amp, 1 Snake Oil, and 1 Metabolic Agent. Can get everything needed on Jemison except sedative, which you can grow in greenhouses on Freya III. Can send helium over to Freya III from Freya I to power an intersystem cargo link. Super easy setup and scalable: can start it as an Amp farm on Jemison and scale up from there. Also don’t need to mess with husbandry.
Yeah it looks like they sell for 20ish value more which is maybe just a few credits more than heal paste. The XP grind is nice though x3. and you're crafting the two best drugs amp and snake oil for personal use - that's a good one - i already have a Jemison Guide - realistically i'd just need to show people how to get the book on neon and set up the freya base - that would be an easy 5 min video where i could just show my setup with graphs and show people how to get a two biome base for chlorine. Thank you for bringing this to my attention - i'll add it to the list
On my way to serpentis I was attacked by the crimson pirates. I didn't have the time to grav jump out of there. I even turned it down to very easy. I should have got the mantis first but have put all my points into science and I'm level 32.
Thanks again, once again my go to source for outposts with some great tips, I always wondered about the use of a transfer stations, they don’t list every resources connected (only about 5-10? At 600 wt max first come first served) and you drop out your ship when landing anyway. 🤔🤷♂️🤷♂️ It also bugs out but now I know how to deal with one of these issues! TY! I’ll be building this asap!
@@TacticatGaming honestly, it is the absolute best and funniest thing!! “Cre-vah-seh-sez??” I literally LOLed! I love that you both don’t give a fuck and also take the time to make it funny in post. 😂😂
The funny thing is I have a very mild speech impediment, they caught it when i was 3 so it's nearly invisible as i went through a ton of speech therapy. I have a hell of a time saying certain words without a lot of training, so shit i don't say often comes out like this lmao@@timfederwitz It puts off a very educated idiot vibe which i actually enjoy - as i don't take myself too seriously.
@@TacticatGamingnot taking ourselves too seriously is the key to a happy life! I have ALS and make fun of and laugh at myself every day! It is affecting my speech, and I sound like I’m drunk. 😂 I constantly say to new people when I am talking to them, “I swear I’m not a day drinker.” 😂
I have some kind of of neurological issue that i'm not really sure what it is, i don't slur my speech i just have a really hard time forming certain sounds. It's a really good thing i wasn't born French, because what i do to that language might be considered a war crime. At my last Firm we had some French clients and my boss was always trying to help me say their name, we ended up agreeing i'd just call them Steve. LMAO
All this get rich videos should start off with don't bother doing this unless you are done with your NG+'s and enjoy spending hours sitting and waiting to reset vendors, but great setup
Botany and zoology 3 let you scan a plant or animal to 100% after only 4 scans. it's nice the first time you have to scan stuff on an outpost. Its a QOL upgrade, but its there if people want it.
I was looking 👀 for best weight to sell item as I’m sick of being overencumered but chems at .10 and ok xp points just make sense and so do these outposts! Thankyou @Tacticat
This is a very cool guide. Thanks alot for that. The only thing what bother me is to have setups on different planets. I not want to spend time in game to go back and forth to deliver resources. I think you mentioned to setup cargo links to other planets - even it is still clunky... but I have to figure that out before going on such large scale production line.
I use an intermediary HE3 distribution outpost. This gets it there as you only need helium 3 for intersystem cargo at the end you create the link. You can either use the HE3 outpost as a step in between and setup both links from there, or just to deliver the HE3 to the one end where you create the link. You need a dedicated cargo link just for HE3 this way though. Also I’ve found it helps to link just a small storage container as last in chain for transport of multiple resources as it can hopefully 🙏 balance, and even out the amount transferred from each resource. Make sure you have storage linked on each end corresponding to the correct storage type solid/liquid/gas.
Nice setup. If you’re just looking to have an abundance of Amp and Snake Oil with any easy to produce money maker/xp farm that only requires 2 Outposts you should produce O2 Shots. You’ll need the recipe from the Neon Nights 03 magazine (very easy to obtain). It has a Mass of .1 and has a base value of 450 credits. Edit: Whoops! Should have read farther into the comments. Someone brought it up already.
How do you get the magazine for this? Is it lying around or a quest? Never heard of it before now and I’ve been trying out everything for outposts for over 300 in game hours now!
My biggest problem with this is not in the production, but in the selling. Even keeping it simple to build comm relays takes more time to sell than to make.
I want money to do shipbuilding so this part is very painful I agree, the fastest place I always find in the key. I’ve watched a few guides and people running exact times and they Key wins out in bulk sales, it’s also more peaceful than neon and the Trade Authority guy isn’t as much of a dick like on Neon…you can also sell everything to the Dr in the key, doesn’t matter for chems but unlike other clinics in game she accepts guns or any items, not just medical.
@@warren1301one thing you can do is Venus, land and find a civilian outpost (not the one that’s already marked a new one) once you find it check if it has a vendor (one with 5k) then you can just just wait for 1 hour and it restocks…. It’s the fastest way
ok so botony and zoology or whatever it is if you max it you can scan 4 of whatever and its 100%. that's what they mean by finding more information. so you can theoretically do a whole planet in 15 minutes
Fantastic Guide for a start. In the Tutorial @10:06 you mention that you've "scoured the database". What database are you refering to and is this an online source? Asking as it looks like a very interesting resource, thanks in advance.
I've watched the video quite a few times and built the base three times now. Excellent for xp early on and credits later. But dude... next time film it in the daytime. No idea why you filmed it at night.
I logged on to Procyon III today after setting up everything for the outpost to find a random mountain popped in out of nowhere covering half the husbandry and storage containers...
Love your guides, sucks that the game was so low limits on the vendors and forces us to wait, even on neon I takes a while if we do want to make money, btw what weapon is that in the end?
Procyon III is bugged for me, scanned everything and it's still 8/10 fauna and 94% overall, scanned everything again and still no beans, every biome shows 100% on the planet map 😢
Excellent management! I would like to see an outpost network that produces/ manufactures Aid, Ammo/grenades and Vanadium fuel rods all converging to a single Main Base utilizing the highest tier of outpost structures (extractors/fabricators/G-houses/A-Husbanderis). Also make use of Bots and Crew. Please make it happen, it'll be an epic min-max empire. I put my faith in you!
I’d be happy with just the Vytinium Fuel Rods + your suggestions (everything converging on one beautiful home base, high tier outposts with robots and crew). I looked at 2 other V-Rod guides and they were messy and hard to follow.
@@williamzuk1246 its not bad after you build it. once you build it it all makes sense. but yeah i was confused as heck but now i know exactly where to go if i am having a supply line issue.
@@MichaelBeck324 I’m definitely going to give it a shot. Setting up a trial run with interstellar links for O2 Shots. Work it as an XP/Credit farm from lvl 45+. Once I hit 90ish where leveling is a bit more harder; set up the Vytinium Fuel Rods. First time in a game where I’m actually crafting. Never got into it with past games.
Yeah I just go to the crafting base and watch for a bit. If the link shuttles aren't showing up or not filling the warehouses with the wafers or fuel rods I back track from there.
It would be great if you could actually sell all this stuff , the vendors don’t have enough credits to make it worthwhile without constantly sleeping on Venus .. the outpost system is so cludgy and awkward, frustrating and annoying, totally spoils it
I dug a little deeper with your comment and it usually takes about 3 minutes on Wolf to make $16,000 (using TA attendant and kiosk), and you have to deal with the stupid kid asking for handouts and a good word… But with your comment, I looked into Neon and in just under five minutes you can actually sell $26,000 worth of resources. $5000 to Newills Goods, $5000 to the Mining League, $5000 to Sieghart Outfitters and $11,000 to the Trade Authority D-bag… All 4 are close proximity so wait 2 24 hour periods and do it all over again that’s way better than Wolf
Neon or try to find a civilian outpost in a planet with a high time dilation 48 it per reset -overall it is s pain in the ass - I typically use it as barter for armor for npcs at outpost, buying ammo and med packs . Those can easily run up 40-50 K - I have guides for low weight high value items though that are better than this now
