INSANE!! My FIRST time REACTION to Queen - Flash - The Hero (Live at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982) 

What a way to start a gig! I love seeing how focussed Freddie is just before the concert as if he's gearing up to give the audience everything he has. You should do the song right after this, "We Will Rock You" - fast version. That song, together with what you just showed, is actually the complete opening of the concert. You can really the see the energy of this band in the complete opening. I love this concert...one of their BEST in my opinion.

I was there! We took my 14 year old cousin to his one and only Queen concert. It wasmagical and he us a Queen ie to this day just like us.

For this concert, they entered to the pre-recorded version of "Flash", and then performed an abbreviated version of "The Hero". If you would have continued the video, they go right into a fast version of "We Will Rock You", which they played as their concert opener on many of their tours. It was a great "hit em hard" opening to the show.

I saw this tour in 1982, they started it off with this!

It looks like Flash was just used to pump up the crowd before the band came on and they did Hero once they were actually on stage.

This was my first time seeing them live ...the day after leaving school...you should give "its late" a listen not live but the Queen official version

If you had kept on watching, they go straight into the fast version of We Will Rock You, and that rounds off the opener perfectly!

I just love how they’re able to just get a crowd up like that I mean, electricity when they walk in or when they’re on a stage, it’s just amazing and Freddie Mercury. He just can light up a stage. I love this. You know this is just incredible. This is magic. This is just wow this is just amazing. I really wish I was able to go see one of their concerts, but just seeing this, just really just shows the electricity magic just how they could light up the stage and the crowd would go wild then this is just beautiful

Very cheesy but oh so much fun, starring Sam Jones & Max Von Sydow (starred in the Exorcist). You gotta watch SOMEBODY TO LOVE from this concert, too. More Fire! Oh, add PLAY THE GAME to that list! The dude standing behind Freddie when they're waiting to go on stage (long hair, sunglasses) is Ratty, Freddie's mic tech. He's the guy who hands Freddie his mic on stage.
