I'll be 77 in a week and we used to take great pride in our yard. Unfortunately my husband is gone and I can barely walk now. It warms my heart to see you help people in general and especially those like me. I can't afford to subscribe but do love watching all your hard work.
Why do you think it costs money to subscribe? It doesn’t cost you anything but it helps their channel out. Hitting the thumbs up icon also helps them. It’s the least we can do to be entertained. So from now on if you watch random videos and enjoy them click subscribe and like (thumbs up).
I used to mow my neighbors yard when I was younger now that I am 80 years old my neighbors help me with my yard. what goes around comes around. thanks for sharing. God bless you both .
I have to say I'm very, very impressed by this whole effort. The "before" pictures of these sidewalks are like the abandoned neighborhoods in Detroit! You guys are amazing. Maybe folks in the area will start paying attention to their own blocks now.
Great clean up of sidewalks smartens whole area up Respect the two of you hard work but what a transformation spreading your Kindness thanks for great video.
I have been a renter for years and have owned my own home now for 15 years. The yard was always kept up and trimmed even the rentals. When I live in it I consider it my home and want it to look nice. When I can no longer look after it my self I will hire someone. If you can’t afford to hire someone then maybe it is time to move into a condo with no yard work. It is our responsibility to keep the yard maintenance up. Keep up the great work guys. Love the videos from both of you. 💕🤗💕
Beautifully finished with nice crisp edges. Truly the frosting on the cake! What a blessing you are to these home owners and to your community. Besides being an outstanding example of selfless service to others. May Gods richly bless you and your family.
I so enjoy watching you two. Your commitment and selfless act of kindness is the love of Christ in your heart. In my younger years I so enjoyed doing what you two do. God bless you both.
I hope the Neighborhood continues to keep it clean after you two are done ! Many man hours and hard work and at times kicked your butts, but ya'll done it Great job 🌴🍊🐊🌞👋
You guys are awesome! What a wonderful thing to do for that street! Hopefully, they will be motivated to keep it up since the hard work has been done. It would be really nice, too, if a pressure wash company saw your video and cleaned the sidewalks. Great job!
Edging and weed eating are just as important as mowing. The sidewalks look wonderful. What you did put a fine finishing touch to the mowed lawn. Thank you for caring and sharing your beautiful work.
This reallly looks good. Never realized the detailing that goes into a yard looking professionally done. Nice job. Hope the neighbors appreciate you. 😘
As a fellow landscaper/lawn maintainence I really enjoy your videos and the work you do. Exemplary and extremely professional looking. So now not only do I do this for a living, I have gone down the lawn cutting rabbithole! Keep up the good work, and showing people we too are professionals.
As a lifelong horticulturist by career , I grew up in the lawn maintenance/landscaping business my mother had bit I went into more interior and retail nursery sales before I retired, I'm 62. And watching your videos makes me feel like jumping on a weed eater, grabbing a rake and being on your crew.. please if you can show the Lizzie Borden house! If you're in the same city "Fall River" that is! I love your channel and what you do! I wish I was 25 again!!!Great work!!So glad YT recommended your channel ,I'm wanting to just in & help you!!
Great job ... always fun to watch what you are doing for your community - lifting the spirits of others is such a blessing - and I always learn something about lawn care !!!! btw, I LOVE those yellow totes/garbage cans - can you let us know where we can purchase one for ourselves - they are quite handy dandy !!!!
This is also about educating homeowners and them knowing their responsibility in the upkeep Most city/county ordinances require property owner to maintain. Now that it is cleaned up it will be more manageable to maintain by property owners
Joan E. The homeowners are responsible for the maintenance of the lawns. But it's the responsibility of the municipality to maintain the sidewalks. That would include replacing broken concrete, extreme differences in heights where the control joints are. I can see two violations where the city is ignoring a couple of little federal laws. The ADA requires wheel chair ramps and the Clean Water Act requires them to keep gutters and storm drains free and clear of all debris.
@@joane9149 - So, are the sidewalks privately owned by the homeowners? Where I live, the city/municipality owns the "public" sidewalks, which is generally the case here in California.
I have absolutely loved watching this series of vids! You have inspired me so much that I talje hubby into helping me mow all the edges of wild property along the different routes we walk with our dog. We're in just outside a small town so many people allow 'natural' landscaping on their curbs & street but it makes it unsafe to joggers, walkers & bicyclists because of the narrow one lane roads. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use y’all in this mighty way!! Blessings to you and your family. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Awesome job and dedication to getting the task at had done properly, I hope the people in this street expressed their gratitude to a job well done for free otherwise that will show the lack of gratitude for unknown people to come and do their job for them.
Amazing for sure... With all this extreme hard word... You 2 deserve the key to the city. Hopefully these folks will tell the city how much you 2 worked yourself to excellence... A recap from a month from now, if will hold the true told story of which 1 respects their properties. You 2 rock... Truly 🙏💪💪🙏
Edging was a part of life growing up. Moved across the state into a neighborhood where no one did. First thing I did was edge. The men started arriving asking me why, saying now they had to because theirs looked bad. I said they didn't have to. Before the month was out, the entire subdivision was edged. Looked beautiful.
I have a sidewalk in front of my business. It’s under the 4’ overhang right in front of my door and the 4 other doors of the businesses on either side of me. I keep it all cleaned off, especially the joints. Just makes for a much neater look. No one else seems to care. 😏Great work guys. Hard work too.
That corner across the street looks pretty raggedy. I think you need to go do the next block. LOL. Ok, seriously this street looks great. The town ought to give you an award.
UNBELIEVABLE the amount of work that you guys had to do. The city should have paid you for that ! Or at least the neighborhood put together some money. Fuel for your equipment is very expensive these days. God bless you guys.
Very satisfying to see such amazing difference. In my experience, it does not take long for such mess to occur. I can't imagine leaving my vehicle on the street when such work was being done or having to perform the cleanup by
A broom used weekly on the sidewalk will prevent the dirt build up, a broom, nothing fancy needed. I did driveway and curb. When I left home my sister did it, then came the grandkids. Mom's yard set the tone for our neighborhood. This was in the erea of the first home developments, buyers. When the idea of ownership was brand new. Nothing mansion-ish about it. Just home.
I truly commend you both for your great effort & teamwork. But I wonder about one thing that I see most lawn care pros do...That involves the sequence of trimming & clean up. Wouldn't it better to first start at the side of the road trimming grass in cracks & mulching up leaves, then trim up the curb, then sidewalks & then use the blower from the road & blow it all together onto the yard, followed by lawn mowing??? I'm no expert, but have mowed many lawns in my day & it just seems to make more sense to do it that way, rather than doing countless extra steps. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But if that's the way it's done, that's OK too. Just wondering tho.
