Been enjoying this mouse a lot since I picked it up 🔥 Great to see you mentioning the dongle again. Let’s hope companies take this advice on board with future releases
I'm using sora 4k for fingertip, and sora v2 is somewhat smaller. So i think it's great mouse for fingertip, but for peoples with large hands, and for me width of back of the sora 4k makes it really beautifull
I think i need to clarify that i put my thumb on the hump of the mice, i really dislike putting my thumb in the center of the mice, it brings pain in my wrist. So it's not usual fingertip
Would this be a suitable swap of the GPro shape? Over short 5 pcs of PC Gaming, I’ve only ever used GPro and GPX as they were safe shapes and great mouse, but recently I’ve wanted something much lighter and I do a mix of claw and ftip as grip, idk my hand size but probs 18-19x9-10
thoughts on the Ninjutso sora v2 vs the atlantis mini 4k? my current main atm, i've been looking at the sora for awhile trying to see if its worth the purchase if i already have the atlantis mini also my main grip that i use is a Relaxed claw/fingertip sometimes i switch to an aggressive claw when im playing Valorant
we need more larger sized superlight mice. this, the maya, g wolves, the WL mice, all the ULX mice, etc. are all medium / small mice. nothing large really exists anymore at decent prices. even mice that are supposed to copy large mice like the sprime pm1 size the mouse down first.
Another banger review, Jake. But I have to disagree with you about recommending Ninjutso not doing the skates uninstalled again. I also really like having the choice of skates and in the Reddit post you showed, the dude basically didn't read the manual and that's user error. Of course, the real future is when companies do what EGG does and leave the screws exposed for easy enthusiast tinkering.
I have wider hands(20.5x10), and like to aggressive claw wider mice, so any Sora V2 video hurts to watch. Not a fan of super tapered or narrow mice, but really like the features of it, especially the hump position. Unfortunate :(
Great video brotha 👍🏽 rubs me the wrong way with the word choice on the 8k polling and claiming the mouse is 39grams but only without something the mouse needs to function is just iffy advertising. Ultimately neither are that big of a deal, but on principle enough for me to not partake in the purchasing of this mouse.
you could probably still go for the Sora V2, but only if you do a very aggressive claw grip or maybe even a ftip other than that, you'll have to look for something else entirely
How do the sides feel compared to x2h mini, or atlantis mini? Mouse looks awesome, but I much prefer the x2h's taper compared to atlantis, and not sure if that would be a deal breaker given your emphasis on that. Loved the vid overall, cheers.
X2H sides are flatter and the Atlantis Mini sides are more tapered. The Sora V2 sits right in between those two. I personally wouldn't consider it a deal breaker because of all the other benefits.
@@jakeufps Would you recommend this mice, if not then which would be a better alternative? I am looking for a new mice since my previous one is 3+ y.o and I play a good mix of CS2 and OW2. I did try the Sora 4k and it felt great but I didnt purchase cause I heard the v2 is coming soon.
I have the OP18k and Lamzu Atlantis mini and they feel about the same size to me due to the tapered sides on the Atlantis mini. I actually like the tapered sides for gaming. How does the sora V2 compare in terms of grip width to the lamzu Atlantis mini?
Between this Sora V2 and an OP1 8k I'm having a hard time making a decision. I'm hoping for an update to the OP1we in the future, as I'd prefer a wireless option of the OP1 but I want better clicks than the current 'we' model from factory.
In your opinion, is there a big difference between sora 4k and sora v2. I can't decide. The weight is not a difference for me, I care about good side buttons, because I use them a lot.
can you compare this mouse to the atlantis mini? based on eloshapes, its quite similar to the atlantis mini. and how does this mouse compared to the U2? do you prefer the U2 over the sora v2?
I aggressive claw a Lamzu Atlantis Mini with 21x10.5 hands. If you've used one before, how do they compare? I'm torn between sticking with what I have or trying out the Sora v2 or Zowie U2.
The sides are sort of similar in terms of taper, and in over all size, the Sora V2 is a tad bigger. For your likings, I would def. recommend this over the U2.
Love the review Jake, been a fan for a long time. I cannot believe that Ninjutso aren't including at-least a 4K dongle in the box, I don't care about 8K but not even 2k? 4k? Mine is arriving this week and yeah, not best pleased really! But, loved the review it was fantastic, thank you again!
I have just ordered this mouse. The product page is definitely missleading especially given the last model was 4k so given they mention up to 8k in the info ie, you can change settings up to 8k to suit the situation and if you scan down the product page you see new shell, all new Snappyfire showing the dongle connecting to the mouse and directly you see THE LOWEST LATENCY and Giant 8,000Hz. Of course i had not realised 1,000Hz mouse 😨 plus this cost $160 AUD inc delivery to Australia. I'm pretty Peedoff really. I wouldn't have ordered it had i known this only supported 1,000k, at the very least it should have supported 4k given the last model was 4k 🤬
I am a Razer Deathadder V3 Pro user. But lately, I've noticed that it's too big for my hand. My hand is 18.5 cm. The Razer feels swollen from the top, and it also feels a little bit big from the right and in length. I bought an ergo mouse because I use palm grip, but I think I won't use ergo mouse anymore. This introduced me to Beast X Max, Sora V2, Razer Viper V3 Pro, and Logitech GPX 2. They look very powerful. Which one/ones are suitable for palm grip and the size of my hand? I have an AMD 5 5600 processor and an AMD RX 6700 XT graphic card on my computer. I have a Zowie 240hz monitor. Will use the mouse with a polling rate of 4000hz or 8000hz cause glitch or lag? Which one/ones will come 4000hz in the box as a standard? I realize I asked more than one question. Thank you in advance for your help. @jakeu
Great review, but everyone keeps raving about how good the switches feel and sound in this mouse, and man, I just don't get the hype. In every review I've watched, including this one, they sound so hollow and very scratchy like an awful unlubed scratchy keyboard switch. To each their own I guess 🤷♂
2:10 Why « don't do that again » ? It's a mouse for enthusiasts. People are just buying stuff that TenZ bought and immediately post on Reddit instead of looking what's a « skate ». I think it's great to do it like that, it gives the choice and even if some people are confused at first, at least they will know what they are using from then
it should be paired with the 8k dongle. making people buy 2 things to do what its advertised to do (8k) is deceptive marketing at best. even apple doesn't do that. those side buttons are a deal breaker IMO. way too much post travel. side buttons should be crispy and light. not mushy
I saw some reviews of the mouse and pre-order it. But then I saw that it was pre-ordered at 2000 or 4000hz instead of 8000hz. Will it make a big difference, can anyone tell me? And if it was worth the pre-order
I got this weird thing that my V2 does multiclicks when the temperature is below 20°C or when the window is open. Dont know if its just for me and its broken or more people got this problem.
Guys, I can't decide between Sora 4k and V2. I use Claw-Relax grip (Pincer Claw). So far I have the GPX and Pulsar X2 Wireless. My hand size is 18.5/10
Can anyone recommend mouse skates, maybe even with a mouse pad to go along? (im currently using the logitech super light 1, on a random non brand mousepad, i do want the sora v2 and whatever mousepad and skates yall can recommend)
can you tell the different between op1 normal and 8k. i mean the 8k had a other mainboardchip. but is it worth? i dont know why but i have better feeling on aim if i use 500hz on mice. should i buy the normal one or the op1 8k?
17.5x9.5 hands, looking for a mouse that I can relax claw/hybrid palm. I have had GPX (for almost 2 years), was great but slightly too big, RVM borderline small (but I can still use it), for the last 4 months I have been using Lamzu Atlantis and it has been great (hab major QC issue, it's ghost scrolling) but it's not my end game (if there is any). I'm really keen on trying Lamzu Maya or Thorn (used to use Razer DA like 8-10 years ago), any suggestions?
already got mine! from g pro superlight to sora v2 is like heaven to me, especialy the 20 gram difference even i dont really claw grip it, much more fingertipping, but 20 gram difference is the most good trade for me
Dang ive been really interested in this mouse but i have been concerned with the size. I have 19x10 hands with a relaxed claw grip and that seems to be on the edge of what you recommend and on the mouse lol What mouse, if not this, would you recommend for a relaxed claw grip 19x10?
Is it recommended to leave the sensor skate off when you use other branded skates? I use some dots and im not sure if id have a smoother experience without it
