Bro you honestly made me get back into skiing. I haven’t skied for 4 years prior to the other day now got a group of mates heading off to the French alps to rip the Val thorens 3 valleys. Lotta love dude ❤
We appreciate all the time and effort it takes to pump out these top tier vids! It’s not easy to drive, ski, film, and edit all this by yourself. Like you said, it’s early season so take care of your body and get some rest if needed!
Such a sick video, Lucas! Loved the face-shots and how you "featured" Seth, that was sick! It's also impressive that you can shred laps all day long like that. Props!!
Looks like you had a pretty nice day on the slopes, I was at Alta the Day you were skiing and I couldn't make it to Snowbird. I tell all of my friends that skies or boards about you and to watch your videos. I have a sky outfit (SIMS) that is 15 years old and wanted to update and have an extra one. After watching your gear review with Montec I did more research and was pretty impressed. Since Montec & Dope are sister companies I settle with Dope because it has a more military look and I didn't want to deal with a bib when it came time for doing # 1. I got the Dope Akin Snowboard Jacket & Pants in Gray Camo. I like snowboard outfits more then ski outfits due to having more pockets and not becoming as dated as most ski outfits. Keep doing what you are doing and letting you know you have much Love On The Slopes. Everyone is talking about you and how humble you are.
Going for my first ski day tomorrow for the season here in switzerland 🎉. Can’t wait! There’s still barely any snow here but we‘ll make the best of it. Your videos are so inspirational and cool to watch you guys getting this much snow so early :) Keep it up! Cheers from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Gorgeous day at Snowbird, UT on Friday. In the meantime, Beaver Creek, CO canceled the men’s downhill and most of the mountain was closed. Utah was the place to be. Beaver Creek has gotten 74” of pow so far this season, while Snowbird has gotten 127”. Have a stoked day, Lucas! ❄️
Another sick one Lucas!!! Wish I could follow you into the cirque. I always get lost lol!! The fact that you skied Dalton with one pole stuck out in front of you is crazy lol!!!! Keep livin’!!!
Boarder here. I almost ate it on the way to work that morning. The day turned beautiful once the storm cleared. And I knew people were killing it up there!
Going back to what I consider my “home base mountain” Snowbird in 21 days and can’t wait. I love this place and was fortunate enough to have had a father who bought a time share at the iron blossom in the 80’s Now our family enjoys Dick Bass’s masterpiece each and every year. Taking my kids who love skiing this incredible mountain and am drooling watching your video. Getting my Stoke on.
Rode the bird Tuesday and Friday. Was truly a surreal experience getting that much snow and skiing it all day with minimal lines. Good video per usual Lucas
I work here and most of the time on avy mitigation mornings gadzoom and gad valley will always open first. Peruvian and Peruvian gulch always take a while
Yooooo that video was crazzzyyy I was out ripping for 13 hours yesterday and I was out ripping again today so I just got around to watching this but Snowbird seemed gnarrlylyy
@@LucasCatania17 stay out west, skied Stowe today 2 ice trails top to bottom and their 4 person quad broke down at 9:10 Am, very Jealous now. Keep killing it.
Somehow, you did it again. My new favorite vlog of the szn and you sir did NOT disappoint. Snowbird is just so epic and you took us on a crazy ride out there! You mad lad!!!
You are definitely cool. I've watching you for three seasons now. This year is so cool. When I get to Park City I'll give you a shout if you're around.
Amazing video as always Lucas, I messaged you a couple days ago about skiing Crystal mountain and you said in January🤘🏼was wondering what those days would be I would love to link up and do a couple runs together
Lake effect powder is supposed to be pretty sought after as well. UP Michigan is the Holy Grail for Midwest powder skiing. Western powder on gnarly pint-sized Eastcoast terrain. They got a place called Mount Bohemia that doesn't even groom, I've heard western skiers compare it to Japan, 20ft of snow a year. It's like a 900ft "off-piste terrain park". Rock and cliff drops, weird little interesting things all over, it would be a completely new type of terrain to ski without the hit and miss eastern snow quality. I won't con you into coming to the hidden gems in Minnesota and Wisconsin, though Lutsen on the North Shore of Superior is worth a visit if you ever decide it's worth the drive and exploration. The Western Great Lakes can have a gnarlyness all their own in a way.
hey man i know youre a skiier but im an intermediate snowboarder (originally a skier and quite comfortable) but want to challenge myself and snowboard at snowbird for the 5 days i go there. Do you think it would be enjoyable to snowboard given how difficult the moutain is? im up for a challenge but was curious what you think
Out of pure curiosity, how much money did you spend on gas during November? I can’t even imagine how high expensive it must be to make these trips in Luna. Great video as always!
Great videos, the right ratio of talk and non-snow to snow footage, good music, a lot of snow/ski videos spend too much time off-snow. I'm wondering if I can move from California to Utah, not sure where in Utah if I want to be in a Tahoe type setting year-round... not too into the deserts, that's what I worry about... I do xc skiing and snowboarding, mtb and overlanding in summer. I'd love to xc every day available. I know nothing about Utah.
