On September 17, China’s major TV channels aired the CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Party - a gala concert dedicated to the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most significant holidays in China. Dimash performed a duet with Chinese singer Huang Xiaoyun, singing the song "仰世而来" / "I Came to Honor Mortal Life".

Huang is her last name, pronounced HWang. Xiaoyun is her first name, pronounced “Sho yoon.” This is the Mid-autumn Festival, a big one in China. She is a rising star in China. She has training in Bel Canto (opera) as well as general pop. She won The Voice in China at age 16; she is now 25. This is the 4th time they have sung together. The "mid-autumn" or, more precisely, the fifth season, is during the last 18 days of the Chinese autumn (which begins around August 7th). So, the fifth season, called "mid-autumn", arrives around September 20th. At this time the Yin and Yang are in balance. And it is then great festivals where our favorite singers give their best. These festivals are really the occasion for a cascade of wonders. You can see Dimash and Xiao Yun in another duet "Red Moon Rules", or Xiao Yun solo in "Oracle", "Upward to the moon" or "Your answer"... Xiao Yun comes, like Dimash, from an operatic training, and is capable of astonishing high notes and long sustains. She is only 25 years old but some think she could become one of the biggest Chinese stars in the future.

BRAZIL - Simply magnificent duet, both with privileged voices, but with their own merits, they studied, have Bel Canto training... she knew how to choose a partner who was up to her standards, Dimash is an immense talent, Huang at 25 years old, will still grow a lot and is certainly the next star in China... see another duet by Dimash and Huang with RED MOON RULES, at the same festival... beautiful productions...

Their duet “Red Moon Rules” is the theme song of an anime movie, done a few weeks before this one. It’s very different and fun. I like her operatic voice better than the baby-doll tone she uses in this one.

Thank you for your reaction. Dimash loves the Chinese people and they love him. I believe he will always come to perform when invited. These Chinese productions are always spectacular. This is beautiful.

great reaction! I love this song, especially Dimash's vocals. It's a nice duet though. I like him pretty much singing with anyone (or obviously by himself). He just had two back to back concerts in Kazakhstan last week (35,000-40.000 people each day and from 80 countries). I wasn't there in person but I've watched a lot of videos and it was fantastic!!
