In my opinion Gunpowder Courier + Bran scales better than Underhanded Dealer + Peggy Sturdybone. If you have two Tethys and you spend 9 Gold on 3 minions and sell them you get 8/8 in total from Peggy and Dealer. Even if you get an extra card from every single minion (which you absolutely won't, because you are at the very least buying Gamblers and Balladists) this would only go up to 11/11. If you have 5 pirates on board, Courier gives you basically 1/0 for every Gold you spend, so 9/0, while Bran doubles the value of your Balladists, directly converting to 0/9 stats for every balladist you play. So in total you get 9/9*Balladists. All of this doesn't even take into account that you need to spend gold on rolling, the extra economy you get by Bran, the extra stats from Cannoneer or that Courier is way easier to triple than Peggy and you can snowball earlier. If you find Bran's Blessing, you can get the best out of both worlds. If you don't find it though, you lose out on a lot of stats. In my experience (and I think this video also demonstrates the problem), 2 out of 3 times you don't find it. Personally I prefer consistency. But I absolutely get the idea of aiming for the highroll.
